  Apr 2014 Invocation
M
I am tuned to you
my every line is a pluck at your strings
regardless of who I'm talking to
I'm subconsciously trying to make you laugh
I am tuned to you
like a named bullet
I've forgotten anyone else
I run like you,
make faces like you,
dance like you,
my aim and my transmission
I find you and have found you
I have forgotten everyone else
because I am tuned to you-
a named bullet that is destined
for the one it will destroy.

Olive branches smother and dismember
in the mud giggling in time
with the squish emanating from
my alternating huff and puff
footprints

I trudge in Winter's sweat of
schizophrenic rain
My old defence, sheepish stolidity,
got tweaked in a twist-up
tight as a candy cane
with a modest gasp
of underground success

That shadowy hush of acknowledgement
ballooned in my ear like a blow fish
amplifying the environmental inertia
that never made me happier
nor this sad

I may have been mad
walking from informed opinions
like a failed Orpheus
but defence shouted in silence
and I returned home
to the unconditional support
of a pet art

Acknowledgement's shadowy hush
tore a blister trail down my back
The ointment of Winter will soothe and
release me before billing me
with a scar and littering in the recycle bin
of who I want to be

Today I wanted to be accepted
Night has arrived with reinforced snowflakes
and the chill on my hot back
has me wondering if I would rather be feared

Absence makes the heart grow
Fonder for most
Somber for some
Odd of others

The presence of love
Is the foremost force
In the divorce
Of reason

Attachments
Magnets
Victims of attraction
Repel
Then make tractions
That keep the world
Moving

Rebels revel
In revolution
Worshipping
The great changing
Like crescent moons
Before the new

Each phase
Relays the latest trend
As love, hate and sin
Blends in a cocktail
Of delusion

Drunkards play martyr
In the extremist
Conditions
Relentless systems of belief
That leaves relief
For the reliving of death

The children witness it all
Imitating
And coming up shorter
Than expectations
With each generation
Alternating ideas
For alternatives
Altering native ways of thinking

Beings battle for correction
In facilities
As others rights
Squander
In the quelling of dissent
Fighting fear
Is dear
To the hearts of trendsetters
Setting the standard
For the new age
New way of thinking

Off to Walden’s Lake
For the Great Disappearance
Dissing appearance
For the sake of absence
As absentmindedness
Watches from afar
Don’t worry
I’ll return with enough
Civil disobedience
The laws will have to change
In our honor
Invocation Apr 2014
I don't know what to do or how to handle these feelings
Then I get an apathetic streak
I treat everything with such indifference
And then I just feel pain.

I see others constant updates on how many pills they want to take.
But I feel like this is so beyond me.
Where am I?
Are you there?
Invocation Apr 2014
Darling I know you run faster
Don't give in now
Let's beat this disaster
They'll never catch us
Breathing is such a simple rhythm
Match your pace to the the beating of your heart
Do us a favor and don't look back, now
You can run faster
You can run faster
I won't go on without you
No, I can't just leave you
Get back on your feet this is no time for games
You still have strength
I can carry you
NO
Don't stop breathing!
They're close now, but we can still make it
You have so much to live for
Stop crying
What do you mean by "I'll see you again someday"
We have so much to see
I'm not going anywhere without you
I'll stay here
The end is close but please just get up
They're almost upon us
Please, we can still get away
We can-

Invocation Apr 2014
Twisting, curling.
Soft, luscious
Ginger, black.... sultry

I nibble, I pet, I grasp...
I wish I had the capabilities.
Beards are sooo ******* sensual and *ugh
