How is it possible
To be hung up on someone
Someone who isn't even yours

It's like missing someone
Someone who you haven't even met
Strange yet so real

The thought of it being fake
knowing that it's probably all imaginary
Makes you doubt yourself

Am I overthinking this?
Is this even real?
Do they feel the same?

It's like playing on the PS3
With your controller unplugged
It might look like you're winning or losing

Swinging your emotions
Toying with them
Going from happy to sad

But it's all for nothing right
You're not really in the game
You just think you are

That's what it's like to be hung up
Hung up on the imaginary
Nothing feels more bitter sweet
You're my imaginary. Even thought I'm deeply wishing I'm wrong.
I still get jealous
Even though I know I shouldn't
Don't quite understand why people keep crying,
Cribbing about things, cursing their fate all the time.
As if tortured by life, sulking and sighing,
Not realizing that everything would eventually be fine!

Being dejected by the minor downfalls in life,
Depressed as the moments unfold unexpected.
Forgetting that they are the gist of being alive,
Without which the upheavals wouldn't be augmented!

Lamenting on their past, not focusing on the present,
Too busy regretting, mourning and grieving,
Observing and noticing only the unpleasant,
Failing to grasp the true essence of living!

So just break all barriers and breathe free,
Remember, there was a reason you were born!
No matter how difficult, just let it be,
Coz the only truth is- life goes on!
An ocean of dreams,
Burning desires...
A multitude of wishes,
Raging aspirations,
That blossomed then...
Wither before my eyes.
Yet, there's no pain,
        No sorrow
        No grief.
But hope...
The waters shall surge again,
The dreams shall blossom again,
The passion shall burn again,
The soul shall rise again.
And rise it will...
For it has never known of losing!
Thou shall not fear...
(haiku x 4)

Sun hides...dips lower
Moon and stars deck the dark sky
Dusk is upon us

Lights.....softly glowing
Drawn curtains are a pale screen
Casting drooping forms...

Voices fill the air
Night, patiently hears the moans
Shame fades at dusk...for,

Dark unites shadows
Cicadas join the whimpers
Wind...comforts the soul...

There once was a girl
Whose laugh
Indelible
Brightens up
The whole room

There once was a girl
Always seemingly
Detached
Larger than life
They say

There once was girl
Even on the days
She does not
Smile
Beautiful, they say

There once was a girl
Who goes for weeks
Sometimes
Without speaking
Tired, she says

There once was a girl
In class staring out
The window
I don’t know her
I don’t know her
dedicated to the girl who's not okay, but that's okay

don't you
miss the way
you would always course
through my body

it seemed
as if
it were a high voltage
electric shock

i lose myself
in the electrical
coils and snaps
mesmerized infinitely

i wrap the long cords
around my neck
and body
 i want you,
even if you dont.
