You are the gentle breeze on a roadtrip to nowhere. The sweet smell of rain after a few sunny days.
That cold thrill that shoots through my spine, as I run wide armed into the ocean.
You are the mix of all my favorite songs that I sing super loud in the shower.
The first star I see at night while talking to the moon.
You are my first cappuccino in the mornings and the last chocolate brownie on a dessert platter.
You are the simple things in life that puts a smile on my face... effortlessly making me happy.

I believe in love in spite of it all
in the resilience of the heart
I appreciate its ability to move on
albeit shattered

I believe in fairy tales
and happily ever afters
In the magic of soulmates
As farfetched as it seems

I believe people are good
and can get lost in someone's smile
My eyes still search for the heart
that can keep time with mine

So yes I still believe
Yet I refuse to put my life on hold
whilst waiting for love
on this broken road I'm on

Blessings
fall on us
like cherry blossoms
in spring.

Gentle
and yet
full of the eternal,
all embracing
forces
of
Life.

like a giant moon illuminates the sky,
my sky lantern was lit
By your love's flame
Love gives the soul such a lift
Warmed with your love is my heart

When will we stop provoking tears
building houses out of fear
burning all the bridges and
highlighting all the edges
of our borders and frontiers?

Our ego's leading us to madness
viral violence,  pain and sadness
Beyond this mental state is light!
So you and I must stop the fight
For one day you and I just might
ascend the path and be alright

Fly away
Give me wings
Yes or no
What is the answer
Let me fly away
Though I may not have the grace of a dancer
I will not crash
I will not fall
If I go up
I may never come down at all

Hope
Her body convulsed under the pressure
Her face crumpled at the thought
Her soul was being crushed
Drowning under all her worries

It was as though the world gave up on her
And poured her sorrows down
Tumbling from the sky
Came all the horrors of the ground

Her eyes were red raw
And shut tight to hold it in
But she couldn't do anything about
The sobs rising from her heart

Her tears swept down her face
Creating streams and creeks and rivers
And gasps arose from her breast
Escaping her frowning mouth

She looked like a deflated balloon
All the air squeezed out
So it seemed as she disappeared
Under a pile of doubt

Though the nicest thing happened
As she fell to the ground
All these people rushed to her side
To give her a helping hand

They caught her as she fell
And lifted her worries from her chest
They supported her and lifted her up
To join her departing soul

Her body and soul reunited
She opened her soden lids
And the sun came out from behind the clouds
As a smile lit up her face
