I can feel your heart beat under my palm
my mind finally goes calm
while you fall asleep

things that were previously done

I can almost taste that skin of yours

I can smell the coconut air
I can choke on your hair in the night
and I'd be alright with this
I could take it around my fist just the same
play a game
or just lay here and sing your name.
Wrestling the invisible line that separates our flesh
wanting more but nothing less
I couldn't wait for that moment when it came

a fluid wreck
a liquid so sweet
don't say thank you
nor apologize
I'm so amazed, lover, to be with you
to be alive.

Nights like these I wish I had someone to lay with.
To kiss, hold, and just be myself with.
I will lose myself within his abyss.
I know one day I'll find him.
His mind will be wonderful and his thoughts will stop time.
I will become addicted to his eyes and the way he sighs.
His heart will be pure and collide with mine.
His imperfections will seem perfect to me
He will let his mind run free.
I'll fall for his laughter and the way he sleeps
I'll show him how everything he hates about himself makes him beautiful but most importantly unique.
I will wait for the man who will hold my hand and stay away from the boys who treat girls like toys.

I may not the best daughter.
But you will always be the best Father.
Yes, I've been slapped, left and right.
But I know I deserved that.
And I'm thankful you do that,
So I will realize how wrong I was.
I always promise to do good
But I also broke that promise,
Cause every time I swear
Later on I'll do the same mistake again.
I tend to do bad things repeatedly.
Yet you forgive me no matter how worst it is.
I didn't love you truthfully,
But you and your love embraces me.
If it isn't because of your love I maybe in hell now,
Screaming in pain endlessly.
You promise to save me and go everywhere I go.
And you never fail to do that.
I cried becasuse of how happy I am,
To know that there's someone who's willing to die for me.
You gave me everything but I can't give you even a single thing.
I was so self-centered, I was so selfish.
But that was before.
It's true that you can't change yourself,
Unless you ask for God's help and guidance.
It is not only me who make accomplishments,
But it is also the Holy Spirit you sends me.
I admit that I can't keep promises
So I ask for your patience,
To always look for me.
I know you do and will always.
Thank you for making me happy.
I only need you in my life.
Cause for when I'm with you,
It was always beyond perfect.

You lay here beside me, I'm warm in your embrace.
We talk of our future and discuss poetry.
You look into my eyes and declare your love for me.
You kiss me softly, and then I wake up. Alone.
