Spring Air
The slight twist of weather
Rain, sunshine, and clouds
Whispers in the air
To increase gradually or calm down
The rain pitter patters on the tin roof
The clouds scurry over in a ****
Continuing on just for a short while
And then trails along the sun shining with a smile
April fades and May swings by
Then summer comes, June and July
This poem is in the season of April and is talking about the transitional weather patterns and how often Spring tends to fly by.

Piece of Me
You took a piece of me
Wasted my time
I was like paper
You wadded me up
And threw me out of line
For some time,
I thought this is why I've been waiting for so long
To figure out
I was completely wrong
I didn't have any hints
Or any "No this isn't right"
Only the look on his face
Proved it was love at first sight
We talked for a short while
Went to church in style
I went to your games to show support
As well as watching my favorite sport
We hung out almost every weekend
Movies, and music, and a little bit of kissing
We went to prom
And danced til dawn
You asked me during a slow dance
If I would be your girlfriend
I said yes
You were so sweet
You took me home and swept me off my feet
(Literally)
I met your mom
Spent the night with you and the dogs
Woke up in a flash
Took me home in a dash
And that was it
You left me without a word

Memories
I look back on these pictures
Only a memory
That reveals the true feelings captured inside of a camera lens
Reflecting places, people, and things
Where I've gone, What I've seen, Who I've been with
When I see those pictures,
my wistful memory tells me how I was so happy
Now I just sit here trying to create better, and happier memories
But it doesn't seem to work anymore
I try too hard and think too much
Just for a memory
To be a bust
All I do is
Hope that one day
Things will lighten up and be true
So I can look at more pictures again
And realize those feelings never left after all
