Invisible
Hamayal Aug 2014
You look from afar
Love in your eyes
Yet the face is stern
Act cool and calm

You can't show
You can't tell
And you feel like
You are in hell

So much love
To give away
But no one to take it
What a waste!

You make him so important
When he doesn't even know you exist
And knowing this aches
Your heart just breaks

You want to hate him
But even thinking about him
Makes you feel
Like you are in heaven

The feelings of agony are still there
No matter how much you try
They do not disappear
You are just miserable

You want to **** yourself
For being so stupid
You hate being invisible
You want to be important to him

In the end all you can do is coexist in silence
And hope and pray that one day
You will get what you desire
Maybe now, maybe in the hereafter

That Special Person
Hamayal Jul 2014
Some people are special naturally
Neither by endeavor nor by wishing
Their lord makes them that way
For another person and for him, solely
It could be that the Lord has made every mortal unique
But kept the beauty in the eye of the beholder
Only the two who are meant for one another
Can see and feel the difference in their love
Like all exemplary relations this bond needs much patience
Sacrifices have to be made and courage displayed
But once the Lord wills, he needs say only 'Be'
And the destined souls can feel themselves being elated
Once their love blossoms it means they have been blessed
With a relationship none like any other they have ever had
There are no barriers of age or gender; status or physical beauty
It can simply be called destiny
Those special to each other no longer know the meaning of being selfish
Their hearts now contain nothing but pure feelings
It’s a connection between two souls made from the Great light
Intricate and simple side by side
It’s just too hard to describe
Only those who have felt it
Can possibly know what the real deal is
The happiness of being with that special person
The tenderness of his warm feelings
The agony of missing him
Fear of losing him, side by side
The loving words
The magical hugs
The fun chit chats
Messing with others
Those little fights
And the big scary ones too
The emotional scene once the quarrel is over
And soon after which there is uncontrollable laughter
For each moment with that special person
You thank Allah almighty with all you can
In the end you hope that you will be able to stay with that person forever
Both in this world and in the paradise of hereafter
For that’s how special the person really is
It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of it
However, one important thing is to not lose sight of the real truth
You’d better not love that mortal more than the one truly worthy of it
Your creator is the one you ought to love the most
For he’s the one who blessed you with these feeling in the first place
Keep this in mind and all shall be well
Both for you and that special one
A poem about true love :)
Its a blessing from Allah almighty.

Our Fights
Hamayal Jul 2014
A smile spreads across my lips
As I replay in my mind, the clips

The time when you drove me so mad
I remember you made me feel really bad

You were ******* at me as well
Over our mistakes we refused to mull

I know deep down we felt terrible.
Our serious fights are so much trouble

We just want to forget it all and make up
But to avoid any harm to our friendship

Time is given for realization and remorse
Apologies made and misunderstandings cleared.

It's amusing, however, when we can't keep up
All is forgotten in a jiffy once we get stirred up

That’s when we have become really tired
Without each other we get so bored.

We argue so much on text messages
But when we meet after what seems like ages

We can barely contain our joy
All that we need, our arch smiles can say

Our fights simply enhance our love
And our friendship is raised further above

Causing us to thank our Lord even more
More than we ever did before.

The Lonely Girl
Hamayal Jul 2014
A girl sat on damp grass all alone at night
The Moon was glowing with all its might

Cool, scented zephyr blew petals and leaves
The only music was that of the swooshing trees

And an occasional howl from far, far away
Nothing was even the slightest bit awry

Except for that girl, who was lonely and sad
The dew had wet the attire in which she was clad

Her big, glassy eyes stared glumly at the moon
The long winter night seemed far from ending soon

Feelings of envy were sparking inside her
She thought how fortunate the moon and stars were

They knew exactly what they were supposed to do
They didn't have to figure out what was true

In this messed up world filled with illusions
Around every corner there are deceptions

Tears trickled down her cheeks as her patience gave way
She wanted to seek her Lord but knew she was far away

Her existence was shackled in frailty and hopelessness
She felt as if nothing could save her from this distress

How was she supposed to keep track of her whole life?
It wasn't a bed of roses to deal with this strife

Good and bad sound easy to choose from
But in reality web of life is spun way beyond the norm

The worst thing was that she had to do it on her own
No one else could go in her place to atone

For the sins or bear the agony of the punishments
Which she would be subjected to for her transgressions

Her forlorn desire was to achieve redemption
But she was afraid it might never happen

Life was too elaborate how could she resist?
The temptations and illusions enshrouded her like mist

Waging a war more fearsome than one can imagine
Against the desires in her heart that were lodged in

There was majestic light and there was awful darkness
She knew, light she had to embrace and the dark, harness

If she let the darkness win she would be lead to ruin
Giving up was, in no wise an option

She knew not what the future would be
All she could do was try and leave the rest be

Would her worries be over and her goal achieved?
That was something only her Lord cognized

— The End —
