My friends all think I'm crazy because I stand in the middle of the street and talk to a God that doesn't exist while high-fiving the windshields of passing school buses. I stopped taking my medication again because guilt taste a lot better than artificial happiness, and I stopped wearing that cross you bought me for my eight birthday because it contradicted the sense of uselessness I received for my twelfth. Life seems a lot less precious when you're talking to your parents in the TV room of a psychiatric unit and look them in the eyes while they tell me not to cry and say that 'pain is only temporary'. All I do is write letters to a man on the moon about the time I realized how hard and easy it is to die. Send me to therapy and make me take pills. I'll smile, but I'll always remember how to tie a noose
Love is everything right and wrong with the universe.
From midnight phone calls because you can't sleep to
Midnight fights because you came home drunk.
From telling your crush you like them to
Telling your vows to the person you plan to spend your life with.
From spontaneous picnics on a starry night to
Surprise proposals.
From going to depths of hell for them to
going to the flower shop to buy them a rose on Valentine's Day.

But most of all
It's for anyone,
Regardless of
Gender,
Race,
Age,
Religion,
Location,
Fandom,
Fashion sense,
Music taste,
ANYTHING.

Love is for anyone.
No matter what.
I decided to take TheCreepThatLovedYou's challenge to redefine society 'cause why not.

I want to be worried about.

Not in the "she'll do something reckless" way.

But in the:

Did I say that right?
Does she like me back?
Does she love me back?
Would it be weird to text her and tell her I had a good time?
Even though I just saw her is it weird to call?
I miss her voice, does she miss mine?
Do I need to tell her I love her more?
Am I telling her I love her too much?
Does she miss me?

kind of way.
The perfect friend has flaws
And he knows all of mine
They laugh, joke and flatter,
Leaving your worries behind
He's sweet, shows he really cares
Even when there's none, he makes the time

The perfect friend is always honest
Even when you don't want him to be
You'll know they want what's best for you
Especially when it's really hard to believe
He'll remember the stories you've shared
And be there to tell you it's time to just 'breathe'

The perfect friend has his own demons
And so many things to worry about
Although, you're there to help him through
They still have time, to lift you off the ground
Hold each other up, day after day, resilient
Sensing the laughter, when there isn't a sound

The perfect friend is beautiful inside
The perfect friend has a heart of gold
This perfect friend is here to stay
He's truly tried and touched my soul
My perfect friend is perfection indeed
But this perfect friend is mine, so get your own!

They say there's no such thing
             as "perfect".
Yet,
    here I write,
          with solid proof,
       That anything is possible
I've found the perfect friend,
              It's true.
For my 'perfect' friend, Frank Ruland.

Write.     A poem      about
The sh    ape that       you see.
What oddity, unusual deformity do you see inYour precious minds eye?
               A castle?
                A cloud?
               A hand or
               A heart?
