When I found out
I couldn't make a sound.
No words came out of my mouth.
That night I cried,
like never before.
My small world,
wasn't perfect anymore.
It's funny I remember it like yesterday,
how memories just won't fade away,
unless time comes out to play.
I often find
myself thinking at night,
how much my life could be different tonight.
If time had waited just one more night.
When I think of myself during this time;
I find that time
has made me stronger in life.
I can't control it,
I can't stop it,
I can only make the best of it.

incorrect, inconsiderable, invalid
by default, i am the bad guy.
all my efforts, sacrifices, and pain
goes nowhere
and is nothing.

the tear stains on my glasses
are simply "completely fake"
and all i feel is plastic
despite the "excuses" that i "make"

so what change would prove you?
will bloodshed give proof?
will breakage give proof?
will brains give proof?
will brawn?
of course not!

for proof is only what's tangible
because you monsters can't feel pain
your intentions are not for justice
but only for personal gain

but when say such things out loud
you tell me i'm wrong,
incorrect, inconsiderable, invalid
the list just goes on-

shut up!

for this is the reality YOU have created,
and you are not running away from it itself,
but the consequences that it brings

and my, you are a wonderful runner
and i'm tired of chasing you

but you'll wear out, eventually
you'll admit it, eventually
you'll apologize, eventually

and you'll get back up

and start running again, eventually
and there'll be nothing else i can do but chase you again, eventually

and i'll catch you, "eventually"
because good always wins over evil,

so the true question is,
in the gaslight eyes of fate,

who is who?
so yeah summer break's going just great for me

Challenge.

Enchantment is a fools game,
one we’ll play with raw abandon.

Tastes of bitter honey,
of wishes we can’t count on.

Consider your challenge called,
before the end you will be mine.

I hope you know what you’re asking for,
to the risks I remain blind.
This poem was also a combined writing/editing effort.

To the fullest
To the bitter end
Till the wheels come off
Not picking flowers in a garden
Pushing Daisy’s instead
Pay my toll
Hopefully she sings while I ride on to the next life
Dark rooms and tunnels
Lost with no will to find my own light
Can’t live forever
Only thing for certain
One day you’ll die
Made my peace
Always stood tall
Never on my knees
I learned to sprint
You’ve lived your life
Only ever knowing how to crawl

We met at a park by your place,
A hill overlooking a lakeshore vista.
The sunset hung over the horizon
As did our words, awaiting conversation.
The nerves got to me and so I flung my phone,
Your laughter a cacophony which my heart still adores.
We had pizza on a bench that night,
Or at least we tried;
Nights at the park have more bugs than we'd like.
But after all the talking and laughing and grinning,
It's our departing hug that sent me spinning.
I'd give everything to have that time again with you.
But alas, I needn't give anything,
For our nights are still this rich and full of youth.

I had a dream that I lost you.

The ground below had shattered and fallen, leaving you over an endless void.
White knuckles from clenching the railing,
you were barely holding on.

I was on the other side of this railing, safe on a sturdy platform.
You looked up at me with wild eyes, beads of sweat trickling down your face.
I outstretched my hand.

A hoarse whisper, from chapped lips, "You don't have to do this,"
I wasn't sure why I had said that.
After all, this situation hadn't been your choice.

Still, you clung there, unmoving. Just....staring.
I took matters into my own hands, and leaned over the railing,
grabbed you by the wrists in an iron manacle grip.

And then the flood came.

A torrent of rushing water broke through the chasm
as if a dam had broken wide open.
The raging currents roared their threats at us.

Your fear quickly turned to sudden confidence,
a grim smirk spread across your face.
Ripping away from my grip.

And before I could blink
You hurled yourself into the depths
Blood-curling, piercing screams.

Pinching my arms,
I can't wake up.

It wasn't a dream that I lost you.
Impulsive

Or did I dream of losing me?
