there’s a rat and there’s a cat
both sitting on the fence
(literally on the fence -
cats and rats don't take up positions on issues)

and a boy happens to pass by;
the rat turns to the cat
but says nothing cause rats don’t talk;
the cat turns to the rat
and eats the rat
cause it’s in its nature to do so

the boy walks past
with no idea what’s happening
cause he’s human
(though they talk and eat a lot,
humans have no idea what’s happening)

One day there was a bright glowing canvas, a pure sparkling white
It was beautiful, but not complete
Then someone came along and drew lines on it to form flowers and mountains and streams, it was more beautiful and it made the natural white look more distinct
Then one day someone else added color and the canvas radiated and became more and more complete, it seemed whole and functional
Suddenly, one day someone came along and slew the canvas, destroying its color till it showed black, and an ugly black
The canvas seems so drab so empty without its color, so lifeless
People refused to help the canvas, refused to anything about the canvas slayer refused to listen to the canvas’ plea
Instead the canvas slayer’s free to roam free to hurt and damage other canvas
Who will restore the canvas?
Who will bring justice?
Why is the canvas slayer free to roam while the canvas feels imprisoned, crushed, victimized?
Why is the canvas treated like a criminal?
When will the canvas feel free, joyful and peaceful?

THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO VICTIM'S OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND OTHER FORMS OF ABUSE.
I went through domestic abuse in the past and that is why I had wrote the above poem.

Simple yet delicate findings come to mirror my emotions (m)

I have half a notion to hide from them, like I do my reflection (n)

The coarse expectations from peers leave me drowning (m)

And I know I can't go around allowing them to control me (n)

If I walk the path that isn't made for me then there is no light that dwells in the dim tunnel

and the trouble is ,my tunnel is supposed to end with you, You're supposed to be the light that shines on me and right on through . I'll be the prism of colors you yearn for when depression hovers over you

Just a Vegas city boy

And a Kansas city girl

Sometimes they are never home

And Sometimes it makes me feel like an unopened expired bag of M&N;'s

To be trapped in a body containing its own limits

While others trapped inside an open bottle

Both similar yet different

People in bodies trapped can't aspire to break what can be broken

Those trapped in a bottle can leave when they can shape themselves to leave the bottle that isn't closed

But can't comprehend the shape

What we seem to forget

Is we are limitless in a reality deemed by culture and illusion

To be produced and consumed

To fit any shape but not move

You're not suffocating

I've moved air through clogged straw

And still I stress

And I digress

Even when suicide is a mere option

A cowardly choice some say

Be glad

Because when it seems bad

It really is

Then hysterically submit to convulsions

And succumb to the shock

These are our motives place by our limits in a society that doesn't exist

Like you

It's man made

Think
Slowly you're moving away.
I try to understand the new you .
Your life is so big that I'm afraid I might not fit in
You say you haven't change
That's a lie
Why you rather hang out with other guys . I guess I'm not enough

You're a shovel.
Digging a deep hole in my chest.

I can feel my every breath
whirling around with no way out.

Make it stop.
