Strength is interpreted wrong in the thought procces of the ones who feel weak
In actuality we should be embracing the unique
Thank god for what we see
Forgive ourselves for the guilt stuck inside our bodies
We have a  fire built deep for a reason
A purpose alluring
Everyone is looking for that belief
I just follow the energy
It seems to always be calling
Spoken word never seemed so bleak

My darling,
Do not wait for someone to dance with
When there is music in your bones

In the sea of blessings
I dive.

Sparkling drops surround my mind.

Sparkling drops
And waves of tide
Where I abide.

I am like your bride
Standing at the seaside
And
Joining this joyride
On the tide
Of moments called life.
We all deserve to live free

Why do we want things free?

I thought it was supposed to be a free country?

We're selling our time

We're selling our effort

All for the paper...

That's supposedly how we get out necessities.

We buy our food

We pay for a place to live in this world,

So this is "the real world".

Why is the education we supposedly need,

To make the big money and land that good career,

Putting us in shackles of debt?

We're paying for this land

That is given to us by mother nature

For free

And we can teach each other and ourselves

To be free of judgement

To be free of oppression

To respect all of life equally

We can stand up for one another

We can stand up for the people in the world

We all deserve to live free
Freedom should come free, who can agree?

In fields of frozen crystal white,
in refractions of an inner light,
that stretch on for miles,
& miles & miles,
I hear a call in icy hills,
and birds with funny frozen smiles,

I see the clouds of white applaud,
as the colors take a little bow,
in pinks I've never seen before,
burning oranges on fire now,
I wish for you to see this place somehow,

It really takes your breath..
a w a y,
this place I love so dear,
I tell you in these words tonight,
to draw you really, really near,

For hours,
closely as I...

W h I s P E r

gently,
in your ear,

As we head off now & off we go,
into another year,
& again we go with what we know,
on without a single fear,

I say dear ones,
I say this too,
I say my dearest poet friends,

I say to this,
I say to you,
I say to all,
I say,

AMEN.

Please do not call yourself a rebound.
A rebound is a disgusting sound that screams out after a breakup,
It’s a call for attention to the heartbreak.
You were not that.
You were the first full breath of fresh air after running a marathon.
You were a resurrection, an awakening.
Yes, I was fragile.
Yes, I was vulnerable.
But you did not take advantage of me.
Your touch didn’t take me from my body,
It grounded me.
Your mouth did not shrink me down,
It allowed the confidence to bloom inside of me.
With you,
I saw my five foot frame grow to heights I never imagined reaching.
With you,
I was not a hollowed out shell of a love that used to exist.
With you,
I was a human who owned their body,
Who could fight wars with her words,
Who could live forever.
So, please, do not call yourself a rebound,
Because a rebound does not bring comfort,
A rebound does not bring light,
A rebound does not bring growth,
But you,
You do.
Because I slept with a boy I shouldn't have, and I saw the way he looked at himself after.

Morning stillness
Away from the rush of the city.
One more minute
Before the day develops.

Stay focused.
Stay true to yourself.
Stay still inside
Away from the city lights.

Peaceful
And tranquil,
No matter what the day brings.

Actually, it’s like this;
what use is it to hold onto something that is scattering?
