you branded me
angry red marks soiling soft skin
my body now a cage to the wild soul within

and like a stallion, i love you more when i'm broken

Don't look into her eyes,
Let her go...
Her heart is on fire,
It would be perfect love story,
But it would **** her at the end,
She is broken into pieces,
Too many scars to see love,
Dark nights don't have shadows,
Tears never taste sweet,
Don't burn your hands,
Let her go...
She is lost in herself...let her go, let her find herself. Life is too short to wait for anyone.

Like a cigarette, you **** slow.
I pull you tight against my lips.
You fill my lungs with smokes,
Damaging me inside, with each puff.
With the greed to have more,
I keep searching for you.
You are the deadly addiction,
That I need at nights before I sleep.
So blind in my desires, I can't see...
The warning of danger on the cover.

teach me how to stay tender
i do not know how to keep from
cutting off the parts of me
that are charred

We sang drunk
Our hearts, faster as they were
We sang, we were drunk
Driveway, night, it’s been a while.
We were aware of the danger

You stopped,
I looked back
You kissed me

We sang, we were drunk
But we knew our love never left

I pulled you, closer than ever
I felt your breath, warm and mellow

We were drunk
But we both know it is our love
That never left

We sang, we were drunk
You whispered “Still you.”

We were drunk, we love.

If you have something to say,
say it with conviction
believe in the words coming
from your mouth
because once they're out
they don't go back in
and no mouth to mouth
will resuscitate
a bridge that's in flames
and as long as you
meant every last word
every last volley
shot over the walls
built from years of
friendship
then no blame can be sent
your way
but do not be alarmed
when they come back around,
a little crispy around the edges
all shrieking like demons
faces black and sooty
and eyes red from the smoke
that rose from the fires
that only tears could put out
and they've got a hot coal
in their hand that they
don't feel and they
want to see you burn.

All that makes our demons
scary is who they're
throwing fire at.

you kept me strung up
like a memory
of the death of someone
you used to love
you used me up
you gave me just
barely enough
to keep me there
as a ghost melting
into the memory of
someone I used to know

I like the way your words taste
not nearly copacetic daffodils
but a boisterous bouquet of
letters tied so neatly
so crisply
that I dare not close my ears
even just for a second
because a time without you in my mind
is one I'd rather leave behind

the way life used to be
isn't what i miss,
it's each individual moment-
lapsing over and over one another
creating an inconceivable picture
of everything i love,
now lost
