Sometimes I get sick
or my legs feel dead
Sometimes I can't breathe
and I can't get ahead

But one run in a dozen
on a day like today,
the world says with each footfall,
relax it is okay.
relax it is okay.

Carry On

When we feel sorrow,
When we've gone through unbearable pains,
When we're already on the verge of giving up,
When our hope was lost,
Always try to remember
The very reason why we struggled;
Our purpose and our dreams;
That would give us the strength
We need to carry on and still pursue.
These challenges and hardships will soon pass;
We must not see them as hindrances
But rather tools to make us stronger
And to bring the best out of us.
Always look at the positive side of things and always hope for the best :)
Challenges are set before us to make a better person out of us and not to break us. ^_^

Time is a concept
We each perceive
It may be twelve
But what is it really?

Is it the aging of things
And the death of youth
Or the sounds of spring
The smell of winters beginning?

Or maybe currency
Across time
Across the sea
Always the same
In any city
Percieve it as such
Now tell me my friend
What have you bought?

I bought some work
To maintain current life
I bought guitar
The beauty of music
I bought a gaze at the stars
And many good flicks

Now I've bought this poem
At a worthy price
Now you've bought it too
The art it's been
I hope it was worth it
~Thank you im very appreciative!~
Time, use it to progress, use it for good, use it to share, use it how you want to

Smile, dear
And let the world see
How strong and brave
You faced all the pains
You have gone through.
20W (:
A thought that pops out of my mind after having a successful open heart surgery :)
Forever be strong! ;)

"If not you,
then who?
If not now,
then when?"
Quoted this because I've seen these words somewhere, just can't remember where.
Anyway, just a friendly reminder that all of you are very much worthy of all of the wonderful things life has to offer you.
Believe that.
Everything else is just noise.
Having a good day, hope you all are aswell.

Time keeps marching on.
We are powerless to stop it.
Our strongest forces
Cannot halt the ticking story.
But
What we can do
Is stretch it out—
Stretch time out—
Make every second count,
Fill every minute
With the beating hearts of life.
That is what we can do.
That is how we can remain strong
In the wrinkled, weathered face
Of Time.

Today is Wednesday
Not a particularly special day
But still this morning I awoke with a smile
I won't be doing anything particularly exciting
But still I awoke with a smile
It isn't a particularly a nice day
But still I awoke with a smile
By all accounts it is a completely average day
Yet
I am young
I am healthy
I am blessed

And so I awoke with a smile

Live life like death is just an idea.
To scribble down the pros and cons of your very existence.
To love like hate is a common ancestor for all of us mortals.
To dance with feet that jump around as if they were on hot sand.
I loved life with the perverted joy of Venus' moons.
I hated death with the white hot heat of one thousand suns.
I didn't mind the cold burn of the tiled bathroom floor each morning
Or the stuffy humidity of my old car.
I just wanted life.
I just wanted warmth.
I just wanted to learn
How to: live life like death is just an idea.
Illusory as this corporeal existence
        may be termed,
I am too glad sifting through
[This imagined existence of]
The interspaces of Time and Space.
Don’t need to be interceded for
To a space-less place-

The echoes of infinity
Tingle me, weaving infrasonic waves
Of life around me.

I can catch up with salvation
Some other day;
I'm here. Soaking in
The sun's tickle tingling me awake
The wind's whistle cooing on a dull day,
The patter of rains as it sings
A new rhythm into play.
A dog's wagging tail at my caress,
Smiles from faces familiar-unfamiliar,
Or a dance move I'd been tugging at to perfect.
Lapping up a home-cooked meal
After a long day, curling up in my bed.
Celebrating joys with an exultant jump
A high-five or a fist-pump,

Celebrating life more
Than fearing death.
A positive yet realistic take on life itself.
