Life is so full of  ‘suits’ to try on
And I do like wearing a wide variety
But my most preferred is naked.

Natural. Wild. Untamed.
Skin suit personalities. They are fun to wear but they are not the totality of me. We all have intangible parts and life is a chance to play a part. A meat puppet dance. Instead of acting why not try directing.

I love you
Exquisitely,
Desire you
Wantonly
And miss you
Utterly.
You fill my heart
So completely
There is little room
For anything else...

What you see is only what you believe

Dear Future,
I see you sitting there. Plying at my mind all the time. Undecided. You want something concrete. Security. Only you you don't understand my heart is not on the same page. It's not on the page at all. It is soaring. Riding the wind. The currents. I must be in motion. Always in between arriving and leaving. This is where I thrive. In this breath. The one I'm currently breathing. It is truly all I have and that is everything. I know you don't understand. how could you? You are the future. Ever ahead. Always the horizon. All I can say is one day I will inevitably meet you, upon my death, and o the stories I will have to tell.

A temptress
Always willing
To dance and caress
Revitalizing
She Resuscitates me

To find love you must give love
To find anything you must give it first
We are products of our own circumstance
We must give with no expectations
You give simply because you want to
Because it makes your heart happy.

Your hands upon my hips
My sway felt in your grip
My name upon your lips
Give me more

Your lips upon my skin
The world begins to spin
Dripping on your chin
Give me more

Your eyes holding mine
Desires out to dine
Arching of my spine
Give me more

Duck, duck, goose!|
Now I'm on the loose
Chasing you in hot pursuit
From the spot you're tryin' ta loot
Yet I fail, there's no excuse
Now round I go, Duck, Duck, Goose!

You asphyxiate linear reality
with that choke hold grip of your presence
Black hole pupils
The one's I've been praying for
The ones that catch everything
And by catch  I mean pull
And by pull I mean bring towards
Towards you, towards me
Weighted slow motion
The longer the gaze
The slower my time
Compressing me in the preserving amber
Of your eyes
Held eternal

I have
Plopped
my tired
aching
body
down
onto the
ice-cold
speckled
floor.
My bony back
pushes
in to the
yellowish-brown
hard
stone
wall
it is also
cold.
I sit
peacefully,
awaiting the
arrival of
anybody..
nobody...
I grow
numb

Two nimble messengers
Clasped in your lap
Laying there still
Like a Venus flytrap

I gaze from my perch
Up near the ceiling
Watching and wondering
What they are feeling

Will they be cruel
Will they be kind
You give naught away
Show not your mind

Destruction or birth
It’s not up to you
It’s your prey that decides
What they will do

Everything in life
Is exactly this way
An invisible dance
Of unspoken parlay

The trace of my words linger
Like the whisperiest whisper
And the faintiest hints
Of ghostly smoke tendrils
And dust particle tints

I would speak the images as
Polaroid poems
Developed in my saliva
And dispensed from between my lips
Slowly like a taunting tongue

With tender gentleness
And strength in your heart
You hold me in a trembling place
Where I can fall apart
Fumbletongue Jul 2019
I pick a spot, it's just right
for me to hide out of sight
One, Two, Three I hear you call
I press in closer to the wall
Four, Five,Six are next in cue
If I'm caught what will you do?
Seven, and eight are next in line
I hold my breath at number nine
10! you shout with eager zest
My heart is thumping in my chest
"Ready or not here I come!"
Now it's time to start the fun

Off you go to search me out
Self assured there's no doubt
I wait for you to make some space
So that I can get to base
But instead I follow you
Creeping, sneaking out of view
A quiet game of cat and mouse
In the yard and through the house
As time goes by you are perplexed
Then you shout this out next
"All ye out, in come free!"
Then turn around and there I be

I am high maintenance
In that I require others
To have a sense of self.
In order to understand me
You must understand yourself first.

Sometimes
I feel like those milliseconds
Before a hanging death
Where you stop struggling
But aren’t dead yet either
The frantic clawing
Burning fight for life
No longer visible on the body
But inside still raging.
Locked in a torture
That looks serenely peaceful
Sometimes
Its like my emotions are
Suspended
In that choke of death
On the brink of a black hole
Where it crushes you
In the timelessness
Of forever
Like universal roadkill
Fumbletongue Jul 2018
Sometimes I wonder if my disease
Is just because my soul is too big
For this body

To be human and have life
Meant in order to play fair and equally
I had to be hobbled

Your gentle probing eyes
Your firm and guiding hands
The way in which you use both
To conquer all my lands
No secrets can I keep
No pleasures will I hide
There is nowhere I'd rather be
Than always by your side
Let's sail in to tomorrow
And build a world our own
As long as I am in your arms
I will always be at home

The sail is billowed out.
The mast is standing high.
The moon, the stars, and the sea,
reflected in my eyes.
What great a thing it is
to be given such a gift
of mother natures beauty
on a night such as this.
I feel like I am home
beneath wide and open skies
and everything I'll ever need
is wind so I can fly.

Nestled back
on the cul-de-sac
within the jungled yard

In disrepair
sitting there
Showing all your scars

Left alone
Just boards and bone
Speak of your neglect

Shadowed Debris
From your last lessee
Your banshee dialect

Tiptoe approach
Tenderly encroach
Upon your property

The right touch
A friendly crutch
To lift this poverty

Skeletal remains
framework veins
Weighted in their silence

Times erosion
Your eclosion
Birthed from gall defiance

I'll restore this wood
Back to good
Preserving stories within

Robin Hood pieces
My extraction increases
Patches of woven skin
unfinished

With the respect and ardor one has when handling any wild thing
2. Understand I will make mistakes for my own sensitivities fail to ever reach as high as my bravery. Everything I do, I do it with gusto, full on, all on, even my mistakes
3. Find ways to play, be it through sarcasm, games, adventure, water gun fights, jump scares, humor, wonder, competition, etc...
4. Share space with me don't own it
5. Be unapologetically honest about your feelings. Never assume I know exactly what you mean
6. Must love being outdoors
7. Keep me supplied in mood lighting such as string lights and candles
8. Tell me at least one genuinely nice thing a month to remember during those times when I'm not very fond of myself
9. Remind yourself that no matter all else I actively choose you every day. Not out of obligation, loneliness, or fear but because I believe in you
10. You're awesome because of your awesome

Fumbletongue Oct 2018
It's humid
A kind of humid oppression that slows me down to a drawl
It surrounds and presses in like a pressure cooker
Electric currents amplified
Energy keenly felt in every molecule of moisture
Hanging in the air around me as it seeps in to my pores
A slow burn
Filling me like a Molotov cocktail
I wiggle and squirm as my body begins to pulse
Buzzing and humming in it's tipsy state
Slippery but not numb
Abra-come-grab-ya
Straddling urges
The word '****' my paternoster
As I kneel at the alter of your lap
How much that hard K sound reminds me of the sound of your hand
Finding my mark

I am the bleeding lungs of a scream sustained
for far too long
I am the white knuckles of inconsiderate rage
gripping to strong
I am the splitting ripple echo of a migraine
too big to contain
I am the pummeling assault of spewed words
seething disdain
I am the clenching compressing tension of teeth
ground to dust
I am the derailed rabid raging lunatic
about to combust
I am the catastrophe of inferred innuendos
nothing to lose
I am oppression's obsession convulsing chartreuse
color of lifes bruise
I am the cantankerous susurration
of your sneering disgust
I am the brazen defiance of inferiority
influence unjust
I am the uprising insurgence of misery
you crudely bestow
I am the phantasm succubus of your abyss
I will overthrow

I am
more than my gender
more than my station

I am
here to render
your future frustration

If I had a photographic memory
I would join the likes of Zoltar and Zaltana

For a quarter
I would dispense a memory
As a Polaroid poem
Developed in my saliva
Then passed through my lips
To foretell your future
And reveal your secrets

I would tattoo your every syllable
On my skin in Braille

She delves into your eyes
Inhaling as deeply and as slowly
As her tongue and teeth on her bottom lip
Her smile breaks like a fiery dawn
Intensely focused on igniting you with a single fingertip
Sliding up the topographical map of your spine
To the apex of your neck
Reveling raspberry flushed skin
Melts ice and time

A whisper from a shadow
Prickling at my ears
Anything you have to say
I find I long to hear

Standing still behind me
Enticing me with words
Hold my breath, close my eyes
For all that you infer

Good or bad it matters not
It's your presence that I crave
Whip me, beat me, bleed me
I promise to behave

Or at least I promise for a bit,
An undetermined time
Knowing well how much I like
Crossing over your line

Bind my hands in silken rope
And hook them to the ceiling
Leaving me on tipy-toes
For pains blessed healing

It's playful punishment
That I daringly seek
A red moment captured
Your hand print on my cheek

Or perhaps my inner thigh
A delicious smack or soft whack
Of fingertips sublime
To pull me to the present track

Help me now, you know how
To take the world away
Here I am just for you
A piquant entree

I know how you stare
while I'm sleeping under the stars
At my moon-kissed face
I feel you trace
My every outline

I know how you feel
Pounding heart
In the shadows, stand
Heart in hand
Oh, how it shines

I know how you love
Stolen breath
Just one kiss
From your lips
Forever entwined
A passing thought and a quick write. Needs some editing and some more added

Not my words, but my actions
The cherry picked ones
You squeeze in your hands
Stretching until they
!BURST!
Oozing through your knuckles
Splattering across your chest
RED! Self confirmation
That I wounded you

There is no such thing as perfection
There is only a perfect for me and
That perfect is beautifully flawed.
Fumbletongue Oct 2017
A few nights before Christmas, all family was down
With friends of their own from a way far off town

My sister and I were upstairs in the den
Hanging and chillin with my cousin's best friend

She fell asleep fast, laid out on the floor
So we got up and tiptoed out the porch door

We talked for a while about this and that
Then decided to return and also 'lay flat'

We spoke in hushed tones and he seemed rather eager
'Why not' I thought knowing first times can be meager

In fact it's quite perfect for in days he'll be gone
And all of this awkward wont linger for long

We were very quiet as things got quite heated
And in a few moments we'd both be depleted

But not before my sister sat up in her feelings
And sleepily said "I hate falling off of tall buildings"

She laid back down, having never opened her eyes
And continued to sleep straight through to sunrise

Years later we spoke of that night in my prime
To which she replied "I was awake the whole time"

That awkward I spoke of that was not meant to linger
It turned right around and gave me the finger

Come hither eyes
