No one knows you're the moon
in my secret sky
I want to talk to you, sweetie
but I'm so shy!

I want to walk with you,
but I'm nervous
You are so cute and so sweet,
but your mom is dangerous!

Sweetheart, I love you so much,
but I'm worried;
You still act like you're very young
that's why I'm confused!

So you think you know me,
For I tell you all I feel?

Enn Omane (my dearest),
I haven't even begun to say
What I fail to feel.
I sometimes despise the shallowness with which people dismiss someone because they are not 'someone new'

"Being lonely
In a crowded room"
You've heard that expression,
Have you?
Well, it's so much more than that.
It's down to your core,
To your very soul.
Never having more
Than the thoughts you already know.
No hand to hold
No one there to hug
No voices around
Except the voices in your head
Laying alone in a big empty bed
Sleeping all the way on the edge
Saving room for...
The "one" you think will never show
No friends to call
Knowing no one will be there
Falling deeper and deeper
Into despair
"Lonely in a crowded room"
That's just the beginning
When your still lonely in your head
The voices stop
Your every thought is dark, death...
Let me just tell you..
You think you're lonely?
Think of that empty grave
No room to scoot to the edge
No crowds to even feel alone in...
I promise you
There's nothing more lonely
Than dead.

Think about it.
I've felt this way, I don't know how,
But I've managed to pull through
I'm sure that YOU...
Well, you can too.

"When I can't sleep at night
I stare at the empty side of my bed,
and wonder about the things
I would tell you
if you were laying right
Next to me"

mask?

I wear no mask, no deliberate one,
I wear a smile while I'm seen,
But don't remove it because im pretending,
While you're not looking, my face falls,
But only for while I feel lonely,
The second someone speaks to me,
I'm happy again,
And when you stop, I'm lonely once more.
Chrissy, I don't have a mask

I work hard for this friend-ship
Though I'm not quite on board,
I'm there when you lose grip,
Well at least when you're moored.
Like a lighthouse I stand,
And like a lighthouse I'll stay,
I'll be a beacon on land
Watching still when you fade away.
You'll experience it all, good, bad and scary,
Yet I'll stay by my post, watching and wary.
Nobody saves the lighthouse
From the violent, swirling mess.
When the angry storms rouse
Each flash of light is my own SOS.
And I know they see my light
Because they promptly turn away,
And I'm not trying to put up a fight
Honestly it's better this way.

I wake up
Check my phone
There are no texts/calls/notifications

My sister wakes up
Checks her phone
She has to scroll down to see
All her messages

It is lunch break
I check my phone
There are no texts/calls/notifications

Sometimes my phone
Made for social acceptance
And interaction
Makes me more lonely
And it shows me that I am alone

I go to bed
I check my phone
I am alone

Grant me patience.
Remove my haste.
Let me revel youth
and not let it waste.

Grant me power
and the means to use it
Help me see worth
in powers unused yet.

Grant me success
free from acclaim
let me keep my spirit and
you may keep my name.

Grant me vision
to see what my eyes don’t
And help me mend all
that these times won’t.

Grant me miracles
and grant them often
on the grave of hope
let the daffodils blossom.

Grant me acknowledgement
on an endless list of names
remembered not for what I was
but rather what I became.

Grant me forgiveness
for the prayer I have ranted.
Grant me gratitude
for having taken much for granted.

If only I could bear the passing days without any word from you,
And wait until you remember that I am longing to hear from you;

If only I could steal a moment of your precious time everyday,
And be able to look into your eyes day by day;

Would you finally talk to me?

Would you spend an hour with me?

Would you?
