Sorry is not enough.

I try to express that. I wonder
do you hear the heartache in my words or do they fall on deafened ears
These truths of mine alone do you believe them
You have been told so many lies
I thought I was saving you from pain.
Poisoned lies that belonged not to be felt by you and your innocence though that was ruined prematurely
I was not willing to fuel  that fire
sadly I did light the match and added kindling without intent
I thought I was protecting you saving you from some of the gore
I’m left to wonder if I caused more harm than good.
My soul aches with every beat for every lost moment
Stabbed with every ignored plea and unanswered message
I can do no more  to change that allthough  I will keep trying
I can only hope that from the ruins one day a sprout will immerse I will care for it tenderly but not overshadow it  and with every truth I pray it may grow.

Disturbances, however hard they try,
Will always be horrifying.
Now alarming is just the thing,
To get me wondering if disturbances are atrocious.

The ramp is not nonthermal!
the ramp is exceptionally nonthermal.
A ramp is hot. a ramp is nonthermal,
a ramp is caloric, however.

hardships are not lean!
hardships are exceptionally zoftig.
Do hardships make you shiver?
do they?

Don't belive that gales are big?
gales are little beyond belief.
Now unimportant is just the thing,
To get me wondering if gales are shrimpy.

I cannot help but stop and look at depressing tornadoes.
Do tornadoes make you shiver?
do they?

Cyclones, however hard they try,
Will always be traumatic.
Never forget the harmful and painful cyclones

The world gave up on you,
A little too soon.

They couldn't see the man,
Behind the beast.

Some didn't care enough,
Some didn't dare to.

You flashed warning signs,
When I ventured around you.

You let your guard off for me,
I let my secrets confide in you.

Some days flowers bloom in us,
The other days we crush them to nothing.

You grow cold towards me,
Shatter my heart without making a sound.

I scar you in the daylight,
Find comfort in your embrace in the darkness.

You tell me you aren't easy to love.
I tell you I don't want easy.

I want you.

Because I’m a poet
I permit my mind
To mount clear
In the expression of
love , Sorrow
or
whatever it pleases
To unearth

Because I’m a poet
I tolerate my soul
To adrift  in the abyss of time
like the blowing winds
In its mercy clinging for life
like a chain

Because I’m a poet
I license my body
To have no barriers journey
No rules to follow
spreads my wings
Glide high with my imagination
For poetry is a beast of many faces

Because           You’re          a        Poet
There      is       no      need   for you
to   be   judgmental,  intimidating
or  provocative    towards   others
 for          poetry            is
all      about     living        free
    And             You          Too
Can   shine   on   your
Own

Some will get your scribbles some will not ... maybe those who don’t get it aren’t supposed to... stop the hatred and let’s just have fun for we’re all passionate about poetry ;)

I lived a large
part of my youth
carrying things
that didn’t
belong to me
Indeed I’ve carried
their loads for
too **** long
The load of how
they felt about me
the load of what
they’ve said about me
the load of how
They’ve perceived me
for far too long
These load was never
mine to carry
to begin with
Today I am free
free at last
from criticism
fears , insecurities
and other people’s
opinion
These loads
are no longer mine
to carry
Regardless
how desperate
and foolish
they may seem
Set yourself FREE .... This load ain’t yours to carry!

Dark sky, pouring rain.
I felt the heat from my computer under my fingertips
The occasional flash of lightning, roar of thunder.
Little snores escaped from the lips of a furry creature sound asleep.
Pitter patter, pitter patter.
The clicking of keys spell the words of my heart.
Endless sentences, wondering where to start.
The ticking of the clock, waiting for midnight's arrival.
Tick tock, tick tock.
A paradise in between the lines.
A gorgeous place where no one can find.
Where the scent of sea water lingers in the air.
Dark sky, pouring rain.
One of my favourite things to do is midnight writing. Midnight is often the best time to get inspiration, wether it's writing poems or stories.
