Evelyn's Poem
Revan Thrashin Nov 2014
Dear, sweet young Evelyn.
I'm sorry
But God needs you
By his throne in heaven

Your time will be short
But you'll meet your parents
Your stay won't be long
Yet filled with love of all sorts

As I have watched over
Both Mom and Dad
So must I protect you
Even if it makes them sad

I'll save you from a fallen world
From pain and hurt
You'll never know anger and hate
Wickedness, Evil or Malice

Your life
Was not without meaning
You brought back unity
To a divided family

Above you'll be kept safe
From what man will put you through
The devil's hand
Will never lay a finger on you

Once again
Sweet Evelyn
I'm sorry
But it's time to go.
My baby cousin Evelyn was born several hours ago. She has passed away now in my grief I wrote this.

Everyday (My Best friend)
Revan Thrashin Nov 2014
Everyday
is another struggle
Everyday
is when I wish it'd end

Then I think
of my best friend
He keeps me from
ending them once and for all

Everyday
is another of loathing
Everyday
is another of despair

He not only saved my life
He made it worth living
My best friend
I truly believe loves me
Threw this together for My friend Anthony Samuel Arroyo...I'll get even with you.

The Gates of Hell
Revan Thrashin Nov 2014
In our tine of war
You seized your chance
Left me in the hands
Of our enemies

Treachery against your comrade
Turning my own on me
Leaving me for dead

I never saw it coming
When you left me
At the gates of hell

But I'll return
You can not
Simply lock me away
I'll crawl back to hunt you down

I'll find you
Rob you of your joy
Leaving my misery on your shoulders

You know I'm coming
We'll meet again
At the gates of hell

You're in ruin
Not worth a dime
Or anybody's time
No longer in power

After twenty-five years
I've paid you back
With what you deserve

I'll leave you
Just as you left me
At the gates of hell
I'll bring you back here. One day, Anthony.

Darkness is everlasting
We know who will win

Two Graves
Revan Thrashin Oct 2014
When I sought out vengeance
I first dug two graves
One for my dear old friend
The other was for me

Rest In Peace Anthony
Rest In Peace Louie
Here lies a liar
Here lies a misanthrope

Your grave was just like you
Shallow
My coffin buried like me
Hollow

His dagger pierced my back
In treachery
Mine went through his heart
In vengeance

May we both be judged by divinity equally
To get what we deserve
I however believe we already got it
Here on earth
Tell me what you think of this write.

Heavy Metal
Revan Thrashin Oct 2014
Beautiful to me
Despite what others say
We were meant to be
Together we are free

Oh, how she longs for me
I for her
Our love has the power
To move heaven and earth

If only they could see
How much she means to me
Rather than giving love
They treat her with resent

Whatever comes
I will defend
No matter what they try
My love will stand

They can't stop us
Let them try
For heavy metal
I will die
I love Heavy Metal. It's my true and ultimate passion.

Alone
Revan Thrashin Oct 2014
Deep within my lonely self
I sit in despair
Sorrow takes charge
Serve my soul for its feast

Emptiness gathers
Like witches at the Black Mass
Casting the final curse
Of Solitude

Alone wishing someone would
Save me
Hear me
Feel me

To see if I still exist
Yet no matter how much i yearn
No one hears my plea
I am left alone
Something I wrote a year ago after the betrayal of my dearest friends.

Friendship In Flames
Revan Thrashin Oct 2014
She is the wedge driven between them
She is the hollow distance within them
She is the force that drives them apart
She is a great sea that divides them

She is the thorn in their sides
She is the bullet that bursts through their flesh
She is the stake driven into their hearts
She is the salt in each of their wounds

She is the disease that rots them away
She is the deep ocean that drowns them both
She is the poison that brings agonizing death
She is the flame that devours them both

Out of the torment, what is seen?
One friend stands beside her
In love happy and healthy
As one can be

A scorched friendship
In flames of betrayal,
Another one I wrote a year ago. Tell me what you think.

Puppet
Revan Thrashin Oct 2014
It's become a part of me
Always near but never seen
Born from torment
Raised on agony

Devoured my innocence
Taken my soul
The demon now has control
A new misanthropic mindset

Countless days destruction reigned
Clashing thoughts and actions
Like swords on a battlefield

I've become a puppet
No longer able to act on my own
Pulling my strings I bend to its will
Dance to his tune

Aged and tattered
It has no use for me
I look around and see nothing
Only fading memories of happiness

The smile once upon my face
Washed away by tears of sorrow
A puppet today
A puppet tomorrow
My first poem written a year ago.
