In this crowded city
Whilst swimming through the ocean of strangers
My shoulder unwarily bumped into yours
And it felt like sparks were flying
For the moment our eyes met
It was like I could see right through your soul
Incidents like this don’t happen as much as I want them to
Because my heart has been broken and wounded for so long
And I felt as if there was no way I could find myself falling again
But you
        You were different
From when our hands first interlocked
Till the night I heard the sound of your laugh
To the way you said my name
Every bit of you felt intensely fitting with the broken pieces of my soul
And I fell in love with you

i'm so deeply in love with you even when i haven't met you yet

If I were to wake now i would wish for this dream again. If I'm not asleep I wish never to slumber. Your words cast bright shadows on my mind all day. When my selfish brain would allow my imagination to breathe. The hands on the clock stroking time away until I could know you again. If this will soon pass, a fleeting moment done. Your hearts voice could not be silenced from my memory.

I wish that I could talk to you in your dreams
Speak to you from your pillow
Whisper so closely in your ear.
Time separates our conversation,
Words stretched out over oceans
My heart beat feels so close to you while our bodies are so far apart
When you wake,
I will wake
My fantasy can breathe again
Words will roll off this tongue
Travel time to find you
Maybe one day we will exist in the same minute, same moment
Skin on illustrated skin
with no distance between us
My soft lips will savour the sweet taste of you
While my eyes drink in the reality of you

I wore constellations today in memory of the stars that once aligned for us.

I knew you were something else the moment you answered my question.

"What's your favorite color?"
You shrugged before replying with, "Whatever color the sky is."

From then on I couldn't help but stare at the sky every chance I had. When I was bored out of my mind at school, while listening to music in the car, or simply walking home.

I saw the fiery reds and oranges, the cotton candy purples and pinks, the brightest blues, and the softest pastels. I saw them all and I saw you too. I have never seen something so majestic yet simply beautiful. I have never come across something so awe-inspiring yet something so out of reach. I have never met someone so different, the good kind of different.

Everyday, I stare at the sky then look into your eyes and I see a tinge of sadness underneath the unending awe and undying love. I felt it all too. After all, we both loved something that was way beyond our reach.

If you dig in the cave
Filled with your mistakes
You will find wisdom
Shimmering like gold

Blah blah blah
Enjoy!
a brief moment of clarity
a moment of grace is all it takes
to truly surrender

the hard part is to keep surrendering
a day at a time, but not as hard as
living in the hell of my disease

grateful to be free just for today
and to be trudging
on this "road of happy destiny"
Beloved, you were waiting in
the veins of my soul to provide
sweet water to quench my
spiritual thirst

no person, *****, or acclimations
relieved my desperate thirst

Today, I am a channel of your life giving water that
I freely share, and in return I am given the gift of
peace and serenity in my soul
Thank you. I love you.
Phrases "veins of my soul" and "sweet water" from St. John of the Cross' Living Flame of Love.
