night,
smudged
like the
moon-inks of
mascara,

dark waves,
torn below
the ephemeral
mists of
the sky,

course grasses
scrape the paths.

ii.

in a second
of life,
bulbs with
their pearl-
paper
baubles
nudge
the earth

announce
themselves,
whisper they
no longer
hide in
the cold
that they
never feared
the dark.

iii.

sky of flooding
blossom rests,
whisper of spring
in shadows of
warming isles,
coast of riotous
song sweeping
its way along those
sandy paths.

iv.

boy, we
were here once
before,
so long ago,

i'm dissolving
cloud-like
in love,

memories of
our hearts
their crazy
love, those
emotions like
dance and
desolation.

v.

the emotional
blues of our hearts,
emotion, i will
never forget,
love like a midnight
sea sweeping out,
how i melted for
you, sea, star, night-
cloud of love,
beautiful boy.

midst the tender flowers
           of patient minds, of conventional
                          fragrance of youthful bloom

a desolate soul wars oft weeps,
           ragged currents down kissing wounds

in due course shuffled off its mortal coil
in quest of her own amour

I speak with a heart
Connectedness
I speak with a heart
I breathe with a heart

Its beating my heart
Its beating my heart

I see in my dreams
Connectedness
I feel in my dreams
I'm real in my dreams

Its beating my heart
Its beating my heart

All that's strange will go away
Our blood a different color
And even with my eyes
You can't see
In our difference
Will go away
Connectedness
Connectedness

I speak of the truth
Connectedness
And without the words
There is love

Its beating my heart
Why must we cary on,
Why are we told to be strong,
Why do we fight if it a war,
i win each battle,
but i've lost the war.

How can i fight,
when i have no power,
How can i be the one,
Why must i be the one to fight,
When all i want to do is leave,

Why do we have friends,
when they are bound to give in,
Why do we bother,
fighting in the southern wind,
Why, Why must we?

Let me swim
Across oceans
Until I reach the edge
Of the World,
Where I can fall
Through the stars
And into
A Black Hole
Of Possibilities.

Let me come out
Of the other side
Knowing the things
I have seen
And the exhilaration
I felt
Are too real
To   brush off like dust.

Let me gravitate
Towards the Sun
With hope that
My impurities
Melt away like
Snow in the Spring
And I am reborn
Perfect.
