When offered chocolate grab as much
as one hand can hold
Drink fine liquor till it's all gone
Bask in sunshine all day until it hops over the
horizon
Eat the dewberries of summer without
reservation , make room for good cheese ,
good wine and hot buttered bread on every
occasion
Sample the perfume of every rose in the garden
Take hot baths with Peppermint tea and shortbread
cookies , do it with music blaring , do it often* ...

I decided on a morning walk around Port Lake
To grab a moment , to let it soar , commit something to ink , a cool thought pursuit through the yearling pine links only to find my reflection pulling hijinks ..."Go away you ******* so I can think* !"

tamia
it's a daze,
my vision quite hazy
as if i were looking
through mist.
in my mind
i'm in a room
the pale sunlight streams in
through the windows
gently kissing your face
the way i would.

white curtains, light breeze
and i am seeing you
and you are beautiful
and everything in between
and you are looking at me too
with your sleepy eyes,
your gentle touch
brings more warmth than
the dreamy summers ever could.

yet these are only just dreams
and you are nothing but far away,
but if being asleep
means i can be around you
then deep in these golden slumbers
i will stay
talk about your dreams, do you ever dream of me?
Ripped
crumpled sheet of paper tossed to the floor
remnants of writing...
yet to be completed

clues
everywhere...

lipstick smudges halfway up the page
a Kiss Given
for the Hot footprint of Life.
This ones for Desire.

Rage.... Red and Heavenly
like the eggs of an unborn salmon,
Translucent  Illumination
ready to be swaddled in  its own afterbirth,

No rocks in site to hide them under.
Heavy in their fullness

Drama of life and death.

Wisdoms Great Suffering knowledge
It will all come to an end
and mean nothing anyway

Such is the husbandry  of the Stars.

and yet they remain Lovely...
Twinkling Visions of God-ness.
Wonder Crystallized.
Life Immortal.

And So It Is
If
If freckles were lovely, and day was night,
And measles were nice and a lie warn’t a lie,
Life would be delight,—
But things couldn’t go right
For in such a sad plight
I wouldn’t be I.

If earth was heaven and now was hence,
And past was present, and false was true,
There might be some sense
But I’d be in suspense
For on such a pretense
You wouldn’t be you.

If fear was plucky, and globes were square,
And dirt was cleanly and tears were glee
Things would seem fair,—
Yet they’d all despair,
For if here was there
We wouldn’t be we.
i like my body when it is with your
body. It is so quite new a thing.
Muscles better and nerves more.
i like your body.  i like what it does,
i like its hows.  i like to feel the spine
of your body and its bones, and the trembling
-firm-smooth ness and which i will
again and again and again
kiss, i like kissing this and that of you,
i like, slowly stroking the, shocking fuzz
of your electric furr, and what-is-it comes
over parting flesh….And eyes big love-crumbs,

and possibly i like the thrill

of under me you so quite new
The clocks wind down,
and soon the Earth will spin
tightly again.

How many passes do we need
to take a conscious breath?
How many paths?

The curtain lowers
before the curtain rises again.
I find myself staring at the red velvet,

the in between.
