Hello.
One word.
Two syllables.

A knife through the air of silence.
An enemy of loneliness.
The word itself could bring hope to the hopless.
A smile to the smileless.
A friend to the friendless.

Hello.
A simple word could lead to million things,
it can bring you joy,
love,
heartbreak,
but it could also make you fall
                                                   *a

                                                       p
                                                          *
a
                                                            r

                                                               t

Rip you to shreds.
Tear your heart out.
Leave tears streaming down your face.
For hello is a undecided thing;
Nor friend or enemy.

It's just hello.

A word,
the beginning of a story.
She is made up of words that not anyone can understand;
Her mind is a dictionary of sadness and heartache,
And her heart is a poetry book for the hopeless.
She is the prettiest song,
The perfect sonnet,
The most meaningful haiku,
And the longest novel.
It takes a while to read her,
Seconds to love her,
And a lifetime to forger her.

I am the book that’s already been read & put on the shelf.
I am the first generation of ipod.
I am the broken guitar string.
I am the car that won’t start.

I am the kid sitting alone downtown at 3am.
I am the 300 year old clock that just broke again.
I am the song that finishes too soon.
Today, tomorrow; I am invisible.

I’m not sure if this should be an apology letter.
I just figure for once, I might be able to make things better.
Me; is just something you should never ask me to define.
Modern day society can make you feel like this sometimes. I myself, have felt each and every one of these analogies day after day. I thought, instead of describing and explaining each one out, I'd be better off to leave the readers feel their own versions.

If I catch your eyes promise me you won't look away
If I hold my hand out to you promise me to grab it and never let go
If I fall in love with you promise you'll be there to catch me
If I get a broken heart from you promise that you will unbreak it
If we get forever promise to take it with me and we'll both be the best of you and me
But just promise me this: When we kiss you won't run away from me
Ever
Just promise

If
I lay back at night
I wonder what it would be like
If I heard what others heard
saw what they saw

If at night mother really cooked
and brothers weren't hooked
where hugs and kisses
were real

If dad didn't have to run
and could stay for the fun
where lights were on
and food wasn't gone

If  with child mother stayed
and dreams didn't fade
where children stayed children
for the rest of their days

The moment ends
as quickly as it begins
for the baby calls out
to my sister I must tend

Pain in her eyes, her constant cries.
All the lies that seem to satisfy.
The constant beams of light has disappeared.
Everything she has feared, is greatly coming near.

In her eyes, there is nothing but sorrow.
With the loss of hope for tomorrow.
Her dread of day, watches her wash away.
While the night, makes her feel alright.

In her eyes, she has reached her fate.
With one question that is still a debate.
To stay or to go?
Her answer is still unknown.
