Oh Generational gap, a cancer of to all mankind. The father of lack of communication between the young and the old. A difference brought about the tastes and values. The pain faced between young and aged but can’t be touched. It started by 1960’s the decades of revolutionary change. It cut across the world in values of *** religion and civil rights. The disease the emerged earned its self a name by social scientists. It then became “Generational Gap” I would love to quote a man of great thoughts, Alexis De Tocqueville, who commented that; “Among democratic nations, each generation is a new people” I have come to appreciate these words. When I walk down the streets noticing the rising incompatibility existing in our society Though I admire the old days when the old and young associated freely, working on the same farms Grandparents telling stories to their little ones; what a lovely society they had. With the invention of television and computers some families were bonded in communication While others live in agony especially the illiterate. The old desire different designs from the youth, whose trends change per living day of nakedness Young people prefer working in executive places like offices compared to the donkey farm work considered to be for the old Another cause of generational gap is decay in morals; the young people feel like they know everything and don’t like to be corrected thus taking information from old people as outdated, young people finding lots of hardships to great their elders In the field of music elders prefer oldies and more preferably educative songs, and as for the youths they delight in Hip-hop and dancehall, am sure those present here can testify to this a term with no disco dances makes us dull students. When it comes to religious issues, youth find it a burden to go to church and if they offer to go they prefer it to be in a club way. Praise and worship accompanied by jazz unlike the old days where drums are the centre of music. Cultures in this way have greatly faded away; the trend of western culture has flamed up the world. Drugs and *** are a hobby and celebrated amongst the youth, yet *** to the old was for companionship and co-creation. But when we came to medical technology we all applause in general, young or old there is easy treatment, use of scanners, and medical facilities cuts across.

Wait,We have Rights?
I arrive at the barbers for my weekly, my usual, and you are there, sitting in my seat crying. I lift you up, cape and all, take you round the corner, where you tell me you are sorry but we have to go to Brighton now, even though it is 6pm on a Friday and we won’t be done until 2pm tomorrow. Is it a ruse? I think so, because suddenly we are in a part of London that looks like Montmartre (or it could be Richmond masquerading as Venice) and we meet a man called Tricks who says he’s the new chief now because he knows the location of all the bones. And then there are scanners at airports, walk-in health centres, families in North Carolina with names like Kayleigh and Shauna. And when we are done meeting them we are back, you in the chair, glowing blue under barbicide lights.

I was born lavendar but melted and sunk and dripped down walls like hot wax until I found myself pooled at the bottom, only my dad used to smoke indoors and drywall and smoke have an infatuation, so now I am only a smoky maroon. I never used to believe in ghosts, but now EMF scanners explode and the room is chilled every time I take a good, long look in the mirror. I used to be sturdy, like a tree with more rings than my mother keeps in her top drawer, but now my joints crack like firewood every morning when I get out of bed and I stretch wide enough to fill a whole forest. I used to shudder when boys looked at the pattern on my skirt, but eventually the dip of my collarbones became a sanctuary for every pious boy to visit, eyes closed and speaking in tongues, the heads of their beds becoming crucifixes but the only thing getting nailed was me. I realize I am different now. But I also realize that photographers find smoke beautiful, and babies can see the dead. i remember that marshmallows are best over campfires and that some people still believe in god.

I am different now.
*Covered with concrete walls A rapid combustion exhausting the world Our brain doesn't worn out Life is easy as a dream We don't need to lift a hand It's not a movie, it's just technology Codes and scans, nothing's real! It seems not a big deal No one talks, just too busy to innovate Skyscrapers and big gates No more clouds to see, it's too late You'll never get lost   if you are shot by a GPS There's nowhere to hide They'll track you even you're in the other side No more heartbeat to rate just a beep from a screen of that metal pulse they create No more green to be seen And it's not even weird Barcodes and eye scanners Detect your battery status You build not dreams, but power controlled by the founder No more gray matter just chip being programmed Oh, right! And there's no more people since that bombing started Everyone's greeting is a whirring mechanical noise For we are all nothing but a bunch of machines* -A 9/1/14

Much akin to love everywhere, Largely differs in acceptability, Taken as a stigma in my nation, Contrary to positive receptions, It is put under hostile scanners. Although optimistic we still are, Her young optimism is stronger, O'course people here admire us, And we both smile to ourselves, She makes me proud of myself.

Few Words About Indian Love
you are the kind of beautiful that makes people fall under the crazy delusion that love at first sight is real you are the kind of beautiful that can get away with breaking and entering a heart protected with barbed wires and retina scanners you are the kind of beautiful that is so painful to grasp and hold in both of my hands because i will want to set you free you are the kind of beautiful that takes me aback every time i wake up in the morning and see you, looking at me like i’m that kind of beautiful too

Untitled
(inspired by ‘Dusty Rose Dreaming’ by vb) We’re powdered city girls heading into a club, bright orchids entering the hothouse, spreading fun with noblesse oblige, qua somethings suited for silver screens. Our attention’s as uncertain as the stock market. Experts at mixing trickery and disguise, we’re but vague summations of nature, as we sparkling preen, like excited atoms. Rouged and kohled to unnatural colors, dressed in silk-whispers to tease and entice, in neon-light, broken by par-cans, scanners and champagne flutes, we’re superhero-like immune to societal judgment and aghast rebuke. In our few, fleeting nights of youth let our voices chorus in laughter. What’s it to you? Tell the truth. . . I sat at the workshop Two hours on scanners And milling I've been through The theory before All this new technology Is a touch of someone's genious I felt the brush in my hand And the gentle caress As it touched the surface I felt the craft in my fingers And the joy in my gut The technique... I looked over at her Known her since highschool Another lost cause There's a technician Inside her too So then what happened? We follow the same course She's my best friend My colleague And school friend We did everything Around each other She was a good technician And I, I know I was too A representative included my name In the list of promissing technicians. Then what am I doing? Granted I have nothing to regret My current job will get me closer But why the detour? Then I saw it As I looked over To one of my teachers Who had showed up For the same course If you never build up Your students To believe that they can They can indeed Achieve anything Then you will see How they get lost And hopefully found That's how you lose a talent By telling people That whatever they do It will never be good enough You do not raise fighters Because to fight You need to believe that The cause is just You need to believe That you can win. We were never taught that way. That's how you lose a talent. And maybe the trick is In the balance Of giving balanced critisism To point out the flaw And to say "You'll get the hang of it"

To lose a talent
Not just another side of me Or everything I've done And hear everything I said Far from ear's reach. But I'm the one that thinks, As soon as I pass the security check At every place in Washington D.C. That I forgot to pull something out of my pocket As a security precaution and protocol. I pass scanners, but I think I'm that villain That tricks the bomb-sniffers, Without lifting a finger, Into thinking that there's no harmful instrument on me... When I hypnotize my memory Thinking I passed GO When I should have stayed at the STOP.... Other cases outside reality: TV shows and movies. Oh my god! What I would do sometimes to cut the middle of most plots Just to twist heads, Open eyes, Slap faces, Just to uncover who's on justice side And who abused justice as a disguise.
