Today, the opened door
loosed sharp memory,
someone missing from the rituals,
the glitter bright edges of the season
showed that they can catch,
draw tears,
with only long years
returning the absent love
Mother Earth is cracking at the seams
Making way for you to manifest and release a new moon for you and me
Center yourself
Relax and set it free
Focus on that one thing you need to release
Your stronger than you know
Just let it go
Following your journey
Allowing yourself to grow within the light of the new moon rising
Dying is not a crime
But for playing God
I'll probably do time

Pretty little euthanasia
My disconnected phone
Always going home

That open window
To the fire escape
I am the center of a lake

The kids next door
Liked to play with me
Now we don't see them anymore

Who will quarantine the clouds?

Or close down the snow?

Who will prevent the rain
from assembling?

Or tell the wind to breath
through a mask?

kaela
my fingers trace your skin,
as your lips trace mine.
leaving love marks in a trail,
as our bodies align.

in this blissful moment
nothing is wasted.
my pieces no longer feel broken,
with the wholeness that you have created.

your eyes on my lips that are slightly agape,
your breath on my neck as you tell me to wait.
not much longer and we'll both explode,
as we unravel time is slowed.

i get lost in your eyes;
bluer than the bluest of icy skies.
i just want your lips
and that unbreakable kiss.

this is what it's like when we loved each other
I live in a whirlwind of love
When she leaves
I’m in the eye of the storm
Too quiet
For my daughter, I love you.

He and I - maybe ten minutes ...

     but years later, I remember.
