Death is to become sunshine,
To break open the self to the world,
In sunwheat gold and peasant hearth,
(The sun is the only empire of peasants)
Every grain of annihilation is still a seed,
And the sunlight carries the sleepless dead,
Their melted voices are warm upon our ears,
The sounds rooted in, but when we do not hear,
No more than the dead worshiping the dead.
I still remember
The blue greyness of your eyes,
The warmth of your hand squeezing mine
And your smile.

hey babe
what you've been hiding
in the cupboard of your truth?

a broken tear
filled w old sun,

i m just running after
some kind of youth
And i fear
it's just begun

I toss her the keys to my heart
“Have it back by morning”
As much as a woman’s touch and love sound like the first sunshine after this long gloomy seasonal lustful loss, my true intentions rest upon having her experience a depths that mine nor any man before me could possibly summarize with words. To have her feel like every part of her is seen, felt, and adored.
For her to look for pieces of me and my love in every man that follows
For her to sleep knowing that the embrace of real love is worth fighting for.
To measure love in length of time is foolish
I have kissed a woman under the stars for a single evening and erased years of other boys names
I have sworn my forevers to the endless sky’s and infinite stars while in front of many of my loved ones upon a diamond ring strung around a blue eyed woman’s hand under the most beautiful sunset sin city has ever seen then
watched as minute by piiece this world ripped  that promise and us apart.
What I’m saying is
there are no mpg/mph gauges upon hearts
That being said,
“Be sure to return the tank full”
I love you,
-Maxwell

What could I've ever asked for?

As I laid naked in the scorching sun,
Burning flesh with agony,
Pain to ablaze strongest cords
Deciphering which hurts most
Was its eyes?
Or ears?
Was it skin?
Or was it the throat?

What could I've ever asked for?
Lying in screeching silences,
Whispering darkness,
Looking at the light,
Craving for illumination
Will it ever reach me?

What could I've ever asked for?
As I hear the rumbling crowd,
Through the windows,
Voice enunciating,
The actual voice,
I wanted to hear

What could I've ever asked for?
As I stood there,
Speaking the truth,
Amidst the empty benches
Only to be heard by the walls.

Tell me what could I've ever asked for???
Maybe it's just simple things we all ask for.
A little piece of you,
With a big piece of me,
Vulnerable yet strong,
Depending on true hearts,
To listen,
To speak,
To build,
Scattering pieces,
Into imperishable we.
