a pen
in my hand
touched the paper
and spilled out my emotions haphazardly

then i put the paper
in a glass bottle
sealed it with a cork
and pitched it into the deep ocean

I have my mother’s hands
She’s always with me
I am her

We are one

There's a little piece of you in me
and a little part of me in you

a part of me I miss and look for
a piece of you you think you've lost

when I find you with that part of me
and you see me with that piece of you

we'll approach each other cautiously
pulled together easily

by the part of me and piece of you

that will be, eventually
the piece that completes you
and the part that completes me.

Wisdom is ageless, a verdant tree
Atop the highest peak.
No words, rising above it all.

The clouds are heaven's cherry blossoms,
Scattered on the branches of dawning day
Sugary with the cream of off white,
Crowned with a diadem of golden light,
And by noon shall be whisked away
