Let my silence teach you

what my words

did not
This year, do not explain yourself (especially repeatedly) to someone who does not listen. Let your silence be your response. Let your happiness be your response. Let your peace be your authenticity.
I Fell In Love With You**

I fell in love with you
slowly,
syllable by syllable,
word by word,
poem by poem
imagining the moon’s
dancing affair with stars,
twinkle by twinkle.
And then
all at once
like the explosion
of a super nova
affecting distant galaxies
and down to my very soul.
~~~
I fell in love with you gently,
the way a dew drop
glistens in the morning sun,
the way a flower often opens
to a moonlit song.
~~~
But like all love worth holding,
it turns to fire-
raging,
uncontrolled,
wild and consuming;
you have become the flames
dancing across my skin,
smoldering brightly
within my heart
turning me into the sweet smell of ash.
~~~
I fell in love with you
slowly
then quickly,
the way a meteor flashes
as it skims across the night sky
or hearts melt
within an ******* sigh.
I fell in love with you.
Sorry.
If i could write a poem
i would
if i could express my lowest points
i would
if i could tell you how much i love life
i would
if i could tell you why death is always hanging on my shoulders
i would
if only my happiness could be better than my sadness
i would!
If i could tell you the burden of religions
i would
if i could break from the chains that suffocate me
i would
if i could rid off voices in my head
i would
if you could understand the pains of my sufferings
you would
if my words could speak for my silence
it would
I wish you
were ready for me,
when I was ready for you.
They'll write journeys of you,
within the depths of their eyes,
They'll think of you often,
and remember all times,
They'll paint passion,
with the sweep of their pen,
They'll feel deep, evocative spirits,
when voices relay what silk sheets have penned,
They'll tell of your kisses,
how they taste sweeter than wine,
They’ll tell of lips soft as clouds,
And tongues passionately sword fighting,
They'll speak of your flaws,
as if they are perfection,
They'll walk you into new worlds,
and seize hold of your heart,
They'll scribe their innermost desires between lines,
and grasp onto your soul,
They'll tell of your softness,
and how your skin favors silk,
They'll tell of your scent,
sweet and inviting,
They'll tell of your taste,
as tongues beg for nectar,
They'll speak of faith,
and the linking of two beings,
Fall in love with a Poet,
to be loved endlessly.
Fall in love with me and I will never let you forget that you are loved.
He
Broke my wings
So I couldn’t
Fly
So I stole his soul
So he couldn’t
Die
maybe
in a few
years
we will be
right
for each other
but till then
I'll have
to move on
and here it is! my (published) 100th "a little bit confused" - poem!
also check out my other poems! :)
