Again A Day, and Again a Night,
Dawn And Dusk, A winter A spring-

In the Play of Time, Life ebbs Away...

Only Desires Remain.
As I soar around the room
I like it up here
As I fly and I fly and I fly and I fly
I see her down there
Weeping and suffering
Please let me take away her pain
She should be happy not sad.
I go down to let her know I can help
She doesn’t see me she doesn’t care
Is that me I wonder?
As I look down below

I come crashing to the floor
Manic no more
September 7th 2016
as the leaves fell
from the autumn boughs
he evoked to mind
their marriage vows

the golden maple's hues
reminded him of her wedding ring
it stood for something lasting
yet their love
perished
in the cooling
wind's
chill
which was for him
a
most
bitter
pill

the brown colours of November
tumbled into his empty heart
for his once loving wife
did take leave
his eyes
filled
with
tears
as the skies
clouded in grey
their union of love
on the autumn boughs
drifted
away
There was once a boy
who looked at my freckles
and told me that they were
autumn leaves in winter skies.
That I am a sunset to cherish
and a storm to pet.
Who looked at my words
and told me, that
he could find all the things
he has lost in his life
in my words.
He told me
the day he loses me
he will lose much more than that.

You are 6 ft tall barely,
Already feeling broken,
haven't even had your first "real date."
Forgive me, I've misspoken.

You took her to a movie once,
You made her want to run,
Because she finally realised
I was the smoking gun.

I was one real reason,
bet you'd hate me if you knew.
Our newly ignited friendship?
Don't be kind, we'd be through.

Your words have too much impact,
You think things far too deep.
Your feelings have not subsided,
They haven't. Not in the least.

You say your mantra again
All thats happened, I'm above
If that is actually true,
Why do you still refer to her love?

Your heart is too invested,
I guess you're not for me.
For I was never going to accept
her seconds willingly.

Perhaps one far-off day,
When I'm comfortable with myself,
I'll remember these days,
And take my feelings off the shelf.
The angsty sarcasm is strong with this one!
keeping money is like vanity
my mother says with a cider beer in her left
as my father deals the poker chips.
texas hold ‘em, you ready?
he says brushing past my mothers routine complaints..

its useless- a waste..
i watch my mother eye the stack of bills from across the room
like seeing your friend tell the same joke for the third time waiting for your reaction,
everyone gets two cards and you can look at them
and get rid of the card you find the least valuable

he says

the tension in the room is unbearable like a thick cloud
so i sneak away
to avoid being asked my opinion.
The blue sky
Birds on their fly
The fawn sand
The sea animal's band
And the robust land
The flow of waves
The breeze naive
Silence slashed
Boats flashed
Tide rising ebbed
Rocks washed
Tourists stood douched
