Poets are made of bone , flesh and skin .
They swim in their folly
thinking in the end they will win .
They are having the best waste of time they've ever had
Locked inside their rooms
that have no walls
Saying nothing , nothing
Nothing at all

Prime time never arrives
Their latest masterpiece
Is so , so , so contrived
Best hope is they will die
long before they fall
After all . . .
It's nothing , nothing
Nothing at all

It was the best waste of time
they ever had

I am a fractured soul
A broken man
Fragmented
and destroyed
into tiny pieces

Left with sharp edges,
misshaped parts
and empty spaces

A jigsaw puzzle
I continuously work
A never ending project
attempting to reassemble

But like a shattered vase
glued back together,
it's not quite the same
What was pristine and beautiful
is now just something I resemble

Artists minds
Have fragile souls
The delicate way
We pen our words
Shows our vulnerability

We bare our scars
Triumphs
Hopes and dreams
To heal the pain
Of our wounded hearts

We must create
For our own understanding
Self-discovery
To process the turmoil
And calm our fears and anxiety

Tattooing our thoughts
On our readers minds
Letting each person who reads
Carry a piece of the pain with them
Until there is none left

HAPPINESS,
is just a thought away.
A breath you take with focus
to align with love.
With giggles grand.
With a smile.

HAPPINESS,
* is just a feeling away.
A dancing footstep with grace
to align with birds song.
With musical heartbeat.
With the wind.

Happiness
is our birthright.
An extension of self,
to align with the moment.
With dreams.
With miracles.

Today,
is *International HAPPINESS Day
.
Catch the magic and be HAPPY
now and everyday.
Inspired by Temporal Fugue
Hay Everyone  LETS all celebrate International Happiness Day. Its our birth right to be happy.

I learned I didn't need you.
Because I have everything now,
and you are nowhere
to be found.

Grand Piano
Step 1: Get out of bed
Step 2: Look in the mirror
Step 3: Practice your smile
Step 4: Eyedrops to hide the red eyes
Step 5: Conceal the dark circles
Step 6: Breathe
The curtains are almost up
Step 7: Lock down the pain
Step 8: Ignore the weight on your chest
Step 9: Silence the screams inside of your mind
Step 10: Choke down the sobs
Step 11: Ignore the stinging in your eyes
Step 12: Swallow past the tightness in your throat
You’ve put on this show a million times
Step 13: Don’t let them see
Times up. Curtains up. Camera rolling
You know how when you’re not ok but you try so hard to pretend you’re ok that it becomes a ritual
