love is just a fire
you forget to put out
Sanch Nov 2018
You’re gone
long before you were mine
Or is it?
I'm not even in the place to tell
I’ve drowned myself in these thoughts
In dreams I wished I would never wake
And I kept crawling back to a place
Where pain and bliss both reside
The night whispered to me, “It’s so close"
With a blanket left hanging
Chilling me to the bone
Alas, I opened my eyes and basked in the sun
The long night is gone
But the day I was hoping for
Never came
the title was actually from the last album of my favorite band

An idea I don't have time to write
For thoughts I don't have time to think
Ivan Brooks Sr Oct 2018
Fear no man or his words
only what he's capable of
doing behind your back.
Bow down to no man ,
not only if you attend his funeral
and see him turn and rise.
Consider all men equal
because no matter what he has,
or what position he occupies,
like you, he was born naked
and will surely die some day.

Just another one, without a title but with a purpose.

There are no words for a poem
So we use even more
There is no summery
No singular word to describe
You have to read the story
Go through the journey
To know just were this untitled path will take you

I stare at the blank page
Ready to write a poem
But I have so many words, so many emotions
You poets, you know em
Rattled in my head
Can’t seem to put them on paper and pen
It’s untitled and unlimited
Not enough letters to describe the
Things left unfelt
And the words left unsaid
I myself can’t describe
Those dead
Ivy Grace Bell Aug 2018
The words don't come like they used to.
Maybe its a sign of waning hardship-
Or lack of feeling.
Either way, I am empty.
