To have finally found each other and now be unable to be together, how truly unfortunate we are.

Sometimes I like to think to my self,
"Life will get better."
And then I realize the harsh truth.

It won't

There will be short periods of time
When life is great.
You'll get a new car,
Your significant other will propose,
You'll get promoted and make a **** ton of money.
But everyone knows that those moments will not last.

Depression will hit like a title wave and you wont eat for days.
Insomnia will cause sleep deprivation
And the purple under your eyes will
Cause people to worry if yore dying
And maybe you are: on the inside.

There will be those best of times and those worst of times
But if you have those Great Expectations,
You will get yourself nowhere.

Life is a Series of Unfortunate Events and everything
And nothing will get in your way.
And some day, As you Lay Dying
You may think that it just wasn't worth it.

And then you'll look back.
The negative things are always the most drastic until
The good things mean something more.
Remember your proposal,
Or the time you swam into the lake
And opened yourself to The Awakening.

Remember the times when everything was **** and you said,
this Pride and Prejudice is really getting to me,"
But instead of giving up,
You picked that title up and said,
"Maybe this will help. Maybe these
Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Will heal my wounded soul."

And so you....

As the night grows deeper, I was wide awake.
Being alone and feeling cold, Situations I couldn't take.
Their is someone I'm waiting for
Wishing him to open the door.

They left me in this castle
To trap you and win the battle
But still, I know that you are strong
And winning wouldn't take you so long.

I will be here waiting for you.
Even if the red roses would turn to blue.
It is your name my heart is calling
And those promises are the one's I'm holding.

I remembered the time we made our promises,
In a place full of red roses,
You kissed me on my forehead
And "I Love You" was what you said.

You arrived when sunset came
And I was running shouting your name.
I was very happy and I hugged you so tight
But, a drop of blood came into my sight.

I begged you not to close your eyes
As I was very afraid like I have seen a mice.
But "I Love You" was all I heard.
Leaving me wounded and tired.

When something's not
right..... Homeless, unsheltered
by your category of routine....
it may invite emotions mental
security hired for the dismissal
of any loitering  

angry disappointment and frustration
just to name a few guards within
your mind who's considered the
most mean, tell me again why
your mind requested it's streets
to be clean

we are rich....
with health so many
can't even afford to
breathe... Can you
imagine living with
dreams of being able
to breathe absent
machines, or...: having
to bathe and hydrate
your child with water's
struck with a disease that
feast on living things, I'm
not revoking your right
to complain just lending
you the thought of  the
perception of you through another's
lens may mimic the one of
a king

we take so much for
granted and stress the
minor things when so
many struggle to survive
and pray that god intervenes
