No thought given
No message received
The great forests we know
Once oceans and seas
The deserts and wastes
Once tropical green
A cycle unending
Or so it would seem
But indeed it will end
And ends as we speak
For the thin veil is lifted
The sign we did seek
A potent sign hidden
Not without but within
The morning star rising
The end of all sin
A light now forming
And when it is done
We will be how we were
As when it had begun

Honeycombs of light
****** themselves into being
in metro fields.
Children cross the lush
to skip stones at the dead fence
as night assembles itself
into spaces and stars.

Day falls away like a skin,
beneath conquering belts of milk
that separate from a lidless emptiness.
Silver subway trains gleam
in their charcoal tunnels.
Apart from all of it
is a chalk morsel moon.

Sometimes you are
the thrown stone
sinking down to post
& sometimes you are
the star wheeling off tether.

I push the clock hand
But time does not budge.
Wait, wait, have patience—

But how can I
When the stars will be in reach
When dreams will rouse

Then I will leap into the skies
And miss
Grasping for shrinking stars
As my dreams burn into ashes—

I cannot wait.

A Star Among Other Stars Is Still Considered A Star No Matter How Shiny... How Many Points It Has... Or How Big It Is... But When All Stars But One Become A Moon... Will The Moons Ever Notice That Star Is Still There? Waiting For Itself To Not Just Turn Into A Moon But Actually Decide Whether It Wants To Become One? Because If That's The Case For A Moon To Forget The Meaning Of A Star... Then I Will Forever Stay One.

We sit at the cliff's edge
and skip rocks made of stardust
across the universe of time.

Happy 2021! I was moments away from falling asleep when this suddenly came to me and I just had to write it down.

I like to think
all these years of schooling and essays and grammar
existed so i could one day adequately describe my Love for you.

I told the stars about you,

how your fingers trace my skin
how your breath blew my eyelids
how your smile enchants my soul
how your presence erased mine

I still told the stars about you,

how your lies swept me off my feet
how your love tore me apart
how your embrace clench my lungs
how you shatter me

then,
I've stopped talking to the stars

What if I could be
your light when all of the stars
burn out forever?

Star formed light
Million years away
Still last.
Looking at you
in the night
Is looking at the past
Standing here
your future
waiting  for a falling you
To make a wish a dream
come true....
