Someone stirs and moves, inside of the four walls...
Someone young and fragile...!

The wind rustles against the window to peep, but with no avail...
The rain pours wild, knocking the door, but without an answer...!

Once or twice a voice laughs...
Once or twice a voice cries...
And then silence takes over again!

How the mortar radiates forbidden stories for unborn hours of time to carry...
How the shadows collect terrible secrets for the melody of the night to tary...

Something was amiss here... Something unknown...

And one stormy night finally...
The lightning discovered...

"SHE" was the Enigma...!

How well do we know each other? Very often we know... But fail to understand... We all in one way or the other is an enigma... Difficult to be fully comprehended.
Just wanted to leave you with this thought!
Thank u so much for reading... ❤

if it's her time later
please let her scattered pieces be
these are what completes her

if she never wakes up again
slept with her shattered core
i hope you would know 'til then

if ever she'd made you feel lucky
knowing she sets fire like the sun
i hope you treasure it and feel free

if tomorrow comes today
she should've been here
but it kills her to last the day

The intoxic flame framed phrase, burned my heart.
The unholy sin was unspoken, foreshadowed in the words.
Her captivating silky hair were surely not washed of fain, but of something more cleansing something more, concentrated.
Soft silence on her tongue, emphasised her words because the rose she spoke of was never found anywhere, but smelled in her books which had no bookmark.
The brightness that highlighted dark, was traitor
It represented her unkindliness with grace,
What looked in her coy, was actually pride
And her trap shaped in a window to good times.

Her scent was morphine, her smirk another shot, her plead an order, her wish, motive.
With guilt formed wrong thoughts of her, with pleasure her image.
But she was someone wise, who carried a knife and killed with smile.

Tell me how does it feel
to be on the flipside of things,
I bet there's joy in every second
So dreamy yet so real.
I've had my share of moments
and I keep reliving them.
The things I pen about,
Look at you actually living them.
Tell me how does it feel
to be on the flipside of things,
I bet there's beauty in every minute,
Every minute as soothing as
when a wind chime rings.
I have my share of beauty
I pen it down every night,
Look at you in this shining armour
posing as her knight.
Tell me how does it feel
to be on the flipside of things,
I bet there's charm in every hour,
Unlike this ordeal.
Often I pen about
how I starve for
these moments and then I
Look at you as the same
moments you devour.

She was short
Short haired
Short tempered
Short lived.

When I met her I knew she was a sleepless night in the making.
She lays on a bed fit for mortals,
but the moon places a halo on her head as she sleeps.
I curse my eyes,
as acidic darkness clings to her skin
and eats at my ability to see her at peace.

Seventeen years of life
and I still have yet to realize:
that being a sucker for insomniacs is not good for me.

She is rolling thunder,
a stoic figure with grace and presence.
She dresses herself
as a storm
with dark clouds
and lightning.
Her laughter rings
throughout the heavens
and sailors fear her,
as they should.
