One of the saddest things about being old today is
Kids can't imagine regular old people,

Not on tv old people,
But regular,
Everyday old people, kids can't imagine us

Knowing anything worth knowing.

I guess I was that way

Myself, not so long ago, lost in Hollywood. Actual
Hollywood.
That was weird.

And half a century ago. Not so long ago.

All my walls
All my pain
All my faults
And then still

To pull me in close
And kiss me
Because he is

In love with this
Entire mess

I’d like to know
What is to be loved
I’d like to feel
What’s an affectionate hug

I never knew
