I know the way that love tastes
Honeyed fingertips
Pressed tightly to sealed lips

I know the way that love feels
The fluttering of butterflies
And hearts in cages

I know the way that love sounds
Laughter caught in throats
Full of unspoken words

I know the way that love looks
A gleam in the eyes
Casting shadows in the mind
Between the lines~

One of the saddest things about being old today is
Kids can't imagine regular old people,

Not on tv old people,
But regular,
Everyday old people, kids can't imagine us

Knowing anything worth knowing.

I guess I was that way

Myself, not so long ago, lost in Hollywood. Actual
Hollywood.
That was weird.

And half a century ago. Not so long ago.
I found and old note book with shorter caught thoughts

I feel so alone
So much of the time
Surrounded by people
Who love me
And who don’t
It doesn’t matter
Because no one knows
Me
And I’m
Dying
For someone to
See me
All the way
Through all my crap
All my walls
All my pain
All my faults
And then still
Choose
To pull me in close
And kiss me
Because he is
So furiously
In love with this
Entire mess
