Give me all your pretences,
'cause i have no defences

Hide away your prejudices,
i've thrown all my dices

Put me on a pedestal,
'cause i like being the fake royal

All the time,...
... all the time...
That's how i'm fine,
all these times...

Let me know again how it feels to fly...
for i don't care if it's just your lie...

It's a game in the sand when you get something from me,
Sight the clouds in the sky when the suns too bright to see,
It's all strange in my head, when did shadows start to breathe,
All is fun 'til someone makes you see reality.

You like what you see when I fake being happy,
They will see hope when I see my neck snapping,
A cry in the dark leads the bullets right to me,
Sound the sirens when the chains start to take what once was free.

Don't you know the real from the fake,
Grab a hand in case, must I pray, for your sake,
No one knows knives from pillows till they lay down,
Next time you see, know a grin from a frown.
Don't only appreciate false happiness. All poems aren't happy.

Saying hello with a bright smile and welcoming eyes
How did I get so good at pretending
My insides are on fire
I could burn this whole place down
For the sake of everyone on their highs,
I won't
put holes in these walls with my angry fists
yell at the undeserving
I will
keep pretending
until it becomes my reality
I have mastered being fake happy

When did a smile become a challenge?
A widespread facade?
A sign of danger?
A mask?
We're all so fake happy.
