Plagiarism : to copy and pass off (the expression of ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's work) without crediting the source

From the Latin word plagiarius meaning“kidnapper”.
Posting or copying other people’s work and taking credit for yourself is wrong.  The ransom you pay is your ethics...maybe more
created a isolated world
than plucked
myself into reality,
for impulsive reasons.

Dying is not a crime
But for playing God
I'll probably do time

Pretty little euthanasia
My disconnected phone
Always going home

That open window
To the fire escape
I am the center of a lake

The kids next door
Liked to play with me
Now we don't see them anymore

Nobody thinks they're wrong

Yet

Nobody is doing anything right

on saturday morning we grace around recycled rustic tables, lowering our heads over gluten free brown toast topped with gently scrambled free range eggs, adding soya milk to decaffeinated, ethically sourced coffee, self contained in guilt free reusable cups -

and still we fret.

If you are a bad child
in the eyes of your parents
they sigh
oh, what shall

become of you?
Others are harder, they scold
you and demand respect
for the authority

of faith and customs
They think you are a nihilist
because they don't understand you
and because you do understand

you cannot argue with them
But you try
to explain – no matter how nil
the rules are, there is one anyway:

do the others justice
“Nihilist” is a curse during the French Revolution (1789-1799)
