My love
I will not ask you
to be a pigeon or a dove
cooing your pleasures away
in our liquid moments of love.
I will not ask you to be tender
or to be a timid voice,
suspended in song.
If you must be anything, my Eve
please be thunder,
and shake the foundation of our union
with the audacity of your desire.
Unleash a cry from within
with a purity that vibrates glass.

Do not let your touch become ordinary
like words uttered without meaning or intent.
Do not be
a sapphire sky filled with birds in flight.
If you choose to be anything, my love,
let it be lightning.
Yes, be lightning,
and write your name across my chest
in fluorescent text.
Show me what it means
to be electrocuted by your nails.
A lyrical love poem
Denying what you truly feel,
Only makes those feelings stronger.

So will you deny yourself,
By keeping me at a distance?

Will you chose to forget,
The way I once made you feel?

OR

Will you take that chance,
To get everything you have ever wanted?

The fact of the matter is,
I wont wait for you,
Even when you jealousy shows.

Because I deserve more,
Than a maybe.
Their eyes finally swing
Toward each other,

And all the rules,
Terms and conditions,
Fade away,

In a moment of

Fleeting Permanence.
You bathe in my radiance,
With your eyes closed,
Taking what you need from me,
to strengthen your bones.

You stick around,
Just long enough,
But now its time for you
To wander off.

I expect that you will soon return
To use me again,
So I wait patiently,
Here on spectrum end.

When you return
You will regret not wandering sooner,
This time too much of me
Might just destroy you.

I am
Ultraviolet
My heart flutters,
At the thought
Of holding your hand,
Under the Northern Lights.

But
If you would have me,
As I am
And in this moment,

There is no place else I would
Rather be,

Than right here
And right now,

In the place where
We are meant to be
Aine Jul 2018
We struggle to die
Running right into life's trap
Racing with time ,
We want to grow up
No one to blame that's just us

We age and we differ
Our bones becoming weaker
Our skins lose the  glimmer
Our teeth have no holder
We look back onto the days we were young and merrier
No one to blame that's just us

We seek home in holes
Love ,lust and betrayal
Cries, laughs days pass on
History writen ,they say it lives on
Legends writen over our dry bones
No one to blame that's just us

We can't see these wonders anymore
The sky no longer embraces our world
6 feet deep it feels stone cold
Our souls in rest in the world unknown
As the recite these words on our tombstone
There's No one to blame that's just us
