I wish I was
sober enough
to kiss you
properly

Joey
I let the drops fall through my
fingers, intertwined
their moisture lingers
I ruffled the strands of hair
that sprout from your scalp
I dared to caress your arm
but you drew it away from me
and now I feel blindly, without
a path to touch with my toes
there arose
a great time, in my
mind
when I went looking for you in
sunshine
but the weather grew grey
I'm alone, sometimes
and afraid
please try to stay
away.

I've walked through spears of
dripping warmth
and spiked pain
but in finding you here
I have become sturdy
and insane
you melt my mind
and freeze my skin
and explode all of the ideas
I've been pondering.

You

You
Sometimes I'll sit in a chair
or walk through a room
that you've also sat in
or walked through
just because the idea that
the ghost of your presence
is sharing a space with the reality of mine
sets me free and captivates me
all at the same time.

Dark, thin figures
floating in the sky
eating away every bite of happiness
no enough time to let out a cry
letting the darkness close in
until you're hollow
they are free
with no one to follow
I am emotionless, I will consume you
I dance on the grounds of Azkaban
no eye sockets, a hollow mouth and scabbed grey skin
Allow me, to come closer
and give you a kiss

My very existence seems to displease you
you alter the air with negativity
I shall fight you back
But I have no limbs!
I hover above the ground
I will through you in an ocean
so deep
that you cannot swim

I won't let your negativity blind me
Quit boasting your inane abilities
Let me summon my Patronus
and I will rise with chivalry
E X P E C T O  P A T R O N U M!
Watch my Dragon drive you away
You filth of an amortal creature
Now I shall eat some chocolate to cleanse the stain
it gets better
I got lost in the waves today
While you swam through my mind
I saw you in all the cracks of this underwater shipwreck
Your jaws clamped down around my heart and drew blood
And now that you've smelled that blood you've come back for more
I can't get you out of my mind
I'm floating out to sea without you to save me this time.
I re-experience her,
here,
yes here.
The joy that was lost long ago.
We share again,
we smile again.
I remember the only thing,
the river,
the warmth.
I confess,
something never said before.
We share again,
we smile again.
It wasn't meant to be,
but still,
I wait,
here,
yes here.
