I entertain the
thought of
you
with a
typewriter
and a
glass of
whiskey.

And
I'm trying
so **** hard
to make
something
    beautiful.

she's here,
but i don't see her.

she's here,
with her dull eyes
but i don't see her.

she's here,
with her fragile body,
but i don't see her.

she's here,
with stained cheeks,
but i don't see her.

she's here,
not not uttering a single word,
and i still don't see her.

i don't see the girl i used to know.
i don't see her.

her with bright, glittering eyes.
her with an enthusiastic soul within a body.
her with that curved up line in her face.
her with too many words to say.

*i just don't see her.

You
Sometimes I wonder
If you miss me,
Like how I miss you.

If the sun says goodbye to the moon
Before it even rises, and the moon would fade away. Or if the waves
bid the shores goodbye, everytime the tide changes.

There is no assurance. You'll never know how the other feels and if it's even worth it. Is it worth all the pain and not knowing? Just like how the sun lets the moon shine at night because she knows that he can't shine without her. Can you be my sun and make me shine?

What we Say

She says
I'm insecure
I'm just obscure
Well thats pays
When you're in a world so pure

She says
She's all alone
She's not shown
Me where it fades
I'll watch my tone

I say
You're just a girl
Smells like Marlboro
I'll meet you in May
So you can see the world
Without me

Before you leave
I have to say
I just want you to stay
I want you to be relieved
When I say you can stay
With me

What do you say?
What will you say?
Will I just stay and wait?
Meet my fate.
You were too late.
Words that just ended up in stanzas. Kinda.  Just words not about anyone in particular
The time of night, mid
   It was dark
          She was drunk
The ***** was cheap
   She'd fallen into a nightmare
            Of her own dreams
And she was in way too deep
Death was at her doorstep
    And the promises she made
             She could no longer keep
   She weeped into the bottle
Then drank some more
       Time was of the essence
Yet, the past came back to haunt her
            Just like before
      Too much to handle
For their sake
          She handles it everyday
     "Resilience" they say
  But she's a fake
          Weak and ashamed
How did she get this way?
Those ghosts of memories that
          never faded away
  On that night
     She lost complete control
              And the roses
Were dead and rotting
          Just like her *soul

it echoes a void.
