I pity the fool
that falls in love with me.

I'm sorry you got tangled in my web.
Yes, I cast it,
and I was looking for you.

And now I'm just going to collect you
like the others.
Store you for now.
Devour you later.

And then I'll start over.
Move on.
Cast a new web.
Find the next one.

Watch for me,
carefully now.
Watch for me in the shadows.

A cookie cutter version is what this world wants
So my wild messed up ways I flaunt
You can try to figure me out
As in your face I shout
I'm not like the rest, I never will be
You look but don't see
The uniqueness in me
There's no other that comes close
No one can make that boast
They ask why can't you be like the rest
Well.....I really don't want to be secound best

Today was my birthday

And I barely remember what I did
But I was surrounded by those I love

Today was my birthday

And I didn't get very many gifts
But what I got was just enough

Today was my birthday

And I didn't go anywhere special
But I was surrounded by those I love

**And it was just perfect enough

Love is an obliterate word,
And it's truly undefined.
But getting caught in such an emotion,
Is not a waste of time.

when I first saw you, the wind howled your name like a chilling whisper that sent shivers and galaxies of goosebumps up my spine and down my back

the waves transitioned their melody and began to play a calmer tune, harmonizing with the gentle easy inhales and exhales your lungs produced

my heart whispered you were the one, while a rush of nerves flowed through my blood; a swarm of butterflies took flight in my belly as our eyes met and we became locked in a state that couldn't be undone
for my soulmate

It may be a strange behaviour for you,
To like someone that you don't know,
To understand their feelings as if they were my own,
To accept their thoughts even when it doesn't add up with reality.

But you have never seen yourself from a different view,
Believe me you'll fall too.

a poem need not
rhyme. it just simply has to
mean something to you.

I’m ashamed to say I’ve become a bit of a thief;
A pickpocket of sorts.

It started out small.
A few roses from our neighbors’ garden, every now and then.
I knew it was wrong to take something that wasn’t mine,
But I fell in love with the way your eyes lit up
when I held out those little bits of stolen life, stolen joy.

It soon escalated after that.
I saw the way you gazed lovingly up at the moon,
and I became determined to make it yours.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard I tried,
The moon remained unattainable.
(There is only one, after all.)
I figured I’d aim for the next best thing, so
I hope you like the stars I stole for you.
hi guys! I know I've been gone for a while, but I'm back, and I'm starting a new series, which I'm super excited about.
as always, feedback would be lovely.
