Science, you beauty!
Be it the missions to Mars
or those yummy chocolate bars
Be it the gadgets we use, or the comfort of shoes
The magic of airplanes, or cars shooting down lanes
what have you not, in your armory got
what more will you show, to us bewildered does
Our jaws are on the floor, tingling in our toes
when you unveil your magic, we can only squawk like crows
Speechless and breathless, your discoveries leave us
Joy is ours, when you unveil the covers
of the magic of nature, that wickedly smart creature
Such is the comfort, that you have gifted us bummers
that we do as we please, lathering on the grease
no cause to hide, for we have science on our side!
Science, you beauty!
I, like Science and I cannot lie!
You other brothers can't deny
that when Science walks in, with its shiny toys
and a gadget in your face
You go bonkers
Wanna all out holler
that Science is really fly!
Over staggering mountains steep
and lumbering valleys deep
I struggle to reach your arms
for my heart is yours to keep

A shield against evil and foe
armor for wars and woe
I fight to keep you safe
my life to be your shadow

A muse to make you laugh
a shoulder when times get tough
I breathe to hold you close
your joy is air enough

A river to wash away your tears
A memory to roll back the years
I live to lessen your grief
I am broken without you, my dear

for my heart is yours to keep
There is nothing better in the world, than to lose oneself, in something or someone you love.
Have you ever felt so alive, so truly alive
that it seemed as if the birds sing for you
that the sun turns up every day, to say How do you do!
the waves come crashing to the shore,
to bring you news from the sea floor
the winds whistle and crash through the trees
rushing to you to do as you please
the tigers and lions and lionesses roar
to applaud your presence among all the bores
that the clouds thrash and thunder and burst
to give you a cool drink should you feel the thirst
that all of nature has come alive
to stand witness to you embracing your life
I felt like this today, when a loneliness was driven away
two eyes, two ears, two legs, two of everything
but the heart is always alone, that poor old thing
so when such a lonely soul finds its match
to play with, dance with and if fall then catch
then it would seem all the world is thine oyster
of your fate and destiny, thou be the master
One more mushy poem about love.. sorry!
Wake up, my friend, how long will you sleep
how long will you stand by as these monsters reap
the freedom of us bystanders not uttering a meep
as they wage these ****** wars and the bodies heap

How long before your heart is moved enough
to care for the victims of so called God's love
How long will it take for you to start seething
and take up the cause of ridding the world of Religion?

Do you not see the women treated like cows?
or the children murdered in the thousands?
what more evil has to happen in the world
before we start loving equally, the boy and the girl?

Where and when do we draw a line in the sand
when these holy wars have destroyed our lands?
or they have beheaded us all and cut our hands?
Perhaps when all freedom is buried in the sands?

Wake up to the evil that is religion
it binds, it cuts, it recruits by the legions
it tears through all that is lovely and pure
its time we stood up, and found a cure
Enough is enough. Let's get rid of the evil that is religion, and embrace spirituality if you must.
What is this magic you seem to have cast
You walked into my life, and wiped away the past
You saw me wallowing, and took me to task
Under your spell, I was at peace at last

I thought I had seen, all that love could do
It can seed, it can nurture, it can stun you
But only love can set you free, like no other
and this I have seen now, from close quarter

All pretensions fade, all assumptions die
all masks seen through by honesty's eyes
all pain is lessened by your healing grace
all days brightened by true love's embrace

Some are still tangled in the past's grime
Bitterness their friend, and risk a crime
But fear not of getting hurt again
For true love comes to those, who seek no gain
nor abhor pain
A clean slate
A plastic bag without a handle
A pair of straps without a sandal
A briefcase with rusted locks
A pair of old worn out socks
A never used candelabrum
An empty jar of finished gum
A broken door iron cage
A lost book’s tattered page
A piece of cloth insect holed
An old calendar neatly rolled
A fluorescent light long dead
A clay puppet’s broken head
A fountain pen sans its cap
An old atlas dusty map
A bunch of cassette in tin box
Nails and screws unused locks
Cable tape wire and plug
Grandpa’s brolly faded rug

Can’t disown throw them out

Fond attachments without doubt!
Third rock from the sun, round and sleek
but a rare haven for life, so unique
Blue as only it can be, an earthy hue
Spotted with lands and clouds a few
Flitting around a white orb in a milky lane
Bearing creatures of all size and shape

What is so lacking in our pristine globe
that we treat her like she were another's home
we fight over her lands, rage over her mountains
we cut deep furrows in her heart, to bring out the fountains
we cut away her tresses, those green shady dresses
we pump poison in her guts, plastic and such
why are we so cruel, is all she gives not enough?
would we rather be orphans, homeless and unloved?

and as if all this weren't dandy, we are blind to her pain
killing her children by the millions, we are driving her insane
and those who do care, they warn us, Beware!
She can take away just as easily what she gave
a snap of her fingers and all our worldly gear
would be rotting at the bottom of her murky lair
We fight our petty battles over whose savior is great
But we better wake up to the storm before its late
Make amends, apply salve where she bleeds
Let us restore what we so greedily took
and hope our children won't have to read
About the beauty of the earth, in a book
There is no heaven or hell. The earth is all we have. Let us save it.
