A word i can't seem to remember
A feeling i can't evade
A home whose address i have forgotten
A grief that i always carry with myself
A sleep that forsakes me till late hours
A dawn that breaks a wink too soon
A flower that just won't bloom
A thorn that never falls
A sun with its light too dull
A moon too bright
A smile that never reaches eyes
A frozen tear that never melts
A melody of my mother long erased
A horrible selfdegrading voice that won't leave my head
A silence that keeps storming
A storm that silences all our hearts' pleads
A you i can't seem to stop writing about*
A me that never crosses your mind*

-A.K.
A you i desperately long for
A you i can't find

Going through a writer's block. Not my best i know but still i hope you all like it :) Have a nice day.
I miss when all I could think about was love, being in love and how much I loved you

i sat alone

collecting my thoughts

i was caught up in

a beehive of an evening

infested with dreams

drunken feelings

fixed catalysts

kick starting the slow burn

down to our cells

chemicals mixing

+ im overreacting

as i imagine half my life

hanging from the ceiling

WE'RE ALL JUST CHEMICALS MIXING

In these writings, we lie.

A smidgen of red, black, navy-blue ink over truth.

Cross outs over uglier words, dotted full stops to string the infinite memories.

To make broken glass and porcelein cups whole again.

The kind of facts we did not wish to know, the kind that numbed your veins even in the summer.
We paint them white.

We are liars.
But you were my first *truth.
The last line, I am positive that I quoted from another writer here.
If it is you, please message me, so I can credit it!

"The way I **** will leave you speechless,
stretched out in my sheets,
legs cringing,
body craving for more..."
She licked her lips and replied,
"Show me."
"You are in love. People in love smile like that."
I work in a personal care facility and one of the women I was taking care of Sunday night looked at me and said this. She couldn't be more right.

Update: She passed away this past summer. I'll always remember her sweet words and beautiful sense of humor. Rest easy, sweets.
