We were west of the Azores,
Five days out of New York,
when we spotted the Mary Celeste.
She was listing to Leeward
But still under sail
with no obvious sign of distress.

Briggs, Her captain, I knew
as a man good and true
And his shipmates
were capable men.
We hailed, but no answer,
So I send men aboard
To find out what had become of them.

Her cargo intact, just one lifeboat gone
And a rope that trailed aft in the sea.
Something had caused them
To abandon their ship
but why was a mystery to me.

There are storms on the Ocean
As winter draws near;
A sea grave was his crew's likely fate
Or else they were drifting
Ever farther from shore
with nothing to eat on their plates.

I gave thanks to God’s grace
that cold, indifferent Fate’s
bony fingers had not touched on me
and I wept for my friends
of the Mary Celeste
who would never
come home from the sea.

The ship mary celeste.
For her beauty he protest.
A hearts gate that opens with crystals.
Her heart was in a million pieces.
Standing at your hearts gate calling but the only response was the wind blowing and birds singing.
A poem that is heartwarming.
For her to hear me I cry out for.
He forgot she doesn't live there anymore.©M.P.Jacobs

On alabaster ear lobes
Were two white pearls,
And to the sweet Marie Celeste,
Would sing the joys of the world.

She was born in June.
Loved to dance.

It's quite tragic, really,
That she was on that ship,
The one called the Marie Celeste.

A mystery never resolved, you see.
The pearls whispered the joys of the world,
But they never whispered the joys of the sea.

Pearls do not lie, but sing
On the lobes of an odd thing,
White pearls on white lobes,

Marie Celeste would only wear white robes.

The summer months were not enjoyable,
Marie Celeste hated the heat.
She was always the one who asked the questions,
And the one who died at sea.

If by chance, when under water,
You find a pair of dusty pearls,
Will they still sing, I wonder,
The joys of the whole wide world?
Marie Celeste has been a character in my head recently
Good night and all the best from the crew of the Mary Celeste
We will leave a rusting sword
And some food on the table
In the tiniest of hopes
We can create a beautiful fable
Of where we all really went

Did sharks eat our bones under watery undertones
Have cannibals devoured our skins
As a sacrifice to their god
Were we blown away with the winds
Or have aliens whisked to new worlds

History books will ponder over the Mary Celeste and all its wonder
Why or what and where
Did they go and when will the answer be
One day the truth will out
And our minds can finally be free
Theorists will be heroes or crumble into dust

Folklore will imprint our name like stars on the walk of fame
The books will sell forever
Can they really be dead they’ll say
Believe it if you dare
What’s makes a crew leave and go away
We’ll leave you guess a bit longer

Goodnight from the Mary Celeste
Sleep well and think of us always

she pins stars to the ceiling of my dreams ☉ and makes milkshakes of meteor dust and moonshine ☉ in my day, she sleeps swaddled in a billowing blue counterpane of boundless reflection ☉ in my night, she dances a path to eternity ☉ leaving me breathless and in awe of her spiralling splendour

I decided one day
            as a child of no more than seven
that when I grow up
            and have children of my own
I will name my first daughter
            Celeste
☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽
My baby girl Celeste...
            stardust shimmering in her black eyes
                        hair the color of red giants
            Saturn's rings on her delicate fingers
                        comets coursing through her veins
            constellations on her cheeks and collar bones
☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽
She will daydream too much
            but her teachers will understand
                        that she does not belong in this world.
Her laugh will be as brilliant
            as glowing nebulae
                        flowing purple silk
                                    trillions of miles wide
                        floating in the void
            bursting with new life
If you make her angry
            she will turn you to ice
                        2.7 Kelvin
            crystallize your tears
            make your breath
                        freeze
☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽      ☆      ☽
But if she loves you
                        like she will love me
            she'll never leave you
Because my Celeste loves you more
            than the Sun loves the Earth
            than black holes love the light
            than galaxies love their stairs
and she'll love you until
the universe itself
            stops
cold.

The candle light flickers with such intimacy,
Celeste bodies colliding in allure,
Leaving only marks of compassion,
Turbulence and vile noted under the moon light,
As people envy our love in the other room,
The charisma and sparkle in our synchronization,
The heart melting and charming sensations,
My feet limp and my head spins,
With every stroke and touch that you trace along my back,
Goose bumps seem to increment,
****** emerges that weaken the chains in my soul,
Hangover
Strengthening my love and awareness towards you,
Enthralling enchant,
Chamber of secrets revealed,
A new dawn seen,
Replete words,
Embelleshed and kept,
Diffusing angst and reviving love beat,
Singing me deep lullabies as I sleep.

I lessened my practical protocol
When I met my Celeste
Calling a kinder creature
Calling me was my Celeste

A kindred part was stolen
She warmed my steely heart
My mind made me so sullen
But my grief she took apart

We had gathered wild greens
And gathered in the night
She slathered me with dreams and
She was my delight

Delighting in her aura
Soreness fled from me
Celeste had lessened my cold core
I again began to see

Stolen from a fever dream
She took love away
Life on a cliff side
Lifted her
But she fell, she fell from me

Lovely little girlie
Had fallen off a cliff
Her soul had settled my heart down
Laying, laid down a drift

So gentle soul, she took her toll
she took some life from me.

She took it with her when she fell
On bedrock last life she lay
I won't forget my sweet Celeste
I won't forget that day

There he is! Celeste thought. He's been hiding from me again. But Carlo says he likes me! That's why he hides. He likes me & doesn't want to show it. Well. I want him to show it. I need him to! I need him! But what if Carlo has misjudged? Or, worse, if he's lying? Oh, no! Please don't let that be the case! I'll die...

Jase felt Celeste's eyes on him. He turned quickly and caught the girl standing there. Her long white stretch cotton dress was backlit & she wore no slip. Thus the shadows of her long legs were visible. It was as if the gods played a game... how far can Jace be pushed before he snaps? The wind was in on the conspiracy. It gusted against the front of the dress, pressing into the lush place between her thighs. Oh, God, he thought. Not now, of all times! No. It wasn't the gods tempting him. It was the very devil!

"Alright... you caught me!" Celeste said with a nervous laugh. "I'm "busted" as Carlo would say." Her bangs blew back from her forehead, revealing her more mature heart shaped face. She drew her breath in, ******* up every ounce of courage she owned and the rest came out in a gust, "Carlo taught me how to kiss. I want to know if I'm doing it correctly. Will you tell me?"

Jason Alexander was caught off guard. He was dumbfounded.
"WHAT??!!!" Alex had heard some things come from the lips of this child, but he was completely unprepared for this one!! "He did WHAT??!! AND NO!!! You let him kiss you?? You know better than that!!"

That's when he saw how much courage it took for her to ask... and how her lips were slightly swollen. Bruised with passion.  Uh, oh. That little ****** really had kissed her! Her face crumbled like paper & she began to sob.

"Celeste. I'm sorry... c'mon." He walked over to her slowly and put his hand on her shoulder. She shrugged herself away from him, forcing him to take both of her shoulders and hold her firmly.

"My dear girl. He shouldn't have done that. I told you before. He might be 12 years old chronologically,  but he's going on 40, and he's in love with you. More fiercely than any man twice his age. You must be careful! Did he... um... did he French kiss you? Do you know what that means?"

"NONE of your BUSINESS, NOW!!" The girl-woman practically shouted it.

Jace shushed her... "Look! Be quiet! This is a very sensitive, private conversation we're having, and we don't need ears, much less eyes!

Her whole mein changed. He wants privacy does he? Wants things secretive? Well. I'll give him a secret to keep.

"Don't you want to know how he kissed me? What he did? I'll tell you. Actually this will be a lesson for show-and-tell...

Celeste stepped forward into him, put his face between her hands and gave him a strong, deep kiss...

At first he went to push her away, but his lust got the better of him. He found himself winding his arms around her warm, slender body and kissing her back!

Her tongue pressed into his lips. He opened up his mouth to try to say something... anything! Deftly her warm little tongue flicked into his mouth,  and she ran it deliciously over the sensitive gums above the back of his teeth. He practically shivered. His desire was mounting, and he had to do something. Fast.

Again he took her by her shoulders and dragged her off of him.

He looked at her with undisguised desire. they sure didn't make 15-year-olds like you back when I was growing up.  I'd have gotten better grades..."

Celeste smiled. No. She *grinned!!
:You do like me!! Just like Carlo said!! She went to kiss him again,  but he took her wrists and pushed her back, turned on his heel, and stalked away. Quickly. Before he changed his mind.

That wantonness *had
to be nipped in the bud. He knew just how he'd do it, too. So. You like to kiss girl-child? I'll give you a kiss you'll *never forget...

alegres y saltantes como jóvenes potros;
unos con largas barbas como los padres-ríos;
otros imberbes, ágiles y de piafantes bríos,
y robustos músculos, brazos y lomos aptos

Y oyen seres terrestres y habitantes marinos

He aquí que renacen los lauros milenarios;
vuelven a dar su lumbre los viejos lampadarios;

Arquero luminoso, desde el Zodíaco llegas;
aun presas en las crines tienes abejas griegas;
aun Esculapio sigue la vena de tu ciencia;

tienen raros aspectos, miradas misteriosas;
toda forma es un gesto, una cifra, un enigma;
en cada átomo existe un incógnito estigma;
y hay un alma en cada una de las gotas del mar;
o la flor; y se escuchan palabras de la bruma;

los erizados brazos, las cárceles hostiles;
las frescas bayas altas que el sátiro codicia;
las curvas de las ninfas del séquito de Diana;

MI espalda aun guarda el dulce perfume de la bella;

Ella es la más gallarda de las emperatrices;

Venus anima artera sus máquinas fatales;
tras sus radiantes ojos ríen traidores males;
de su floral perfume se exhala sutil daño;
del agua que la brisa riza y el sol irisa;
los mismos sacros dones de la imperial Minerva;

Como una miel celeste hay en su lengua fina;
la cabellera espesa, la pierna vencedora;
ella de la hembra humana fuera ejemplar augusto;
ante su rostro olímpico no habría rostro adusto;

que el soñador aguarda: Cenis será Ceneo;

al ritmo de la inmensa mecánica celeste;
la boca melodiosa que atrae en Sirenusa
es de la fiera alada y es de la suave musa;
con la bicorne bestia Pasifae se ayunta,
Naturaleza sabia formas diversas junta,

He visto, entonces, raros ojos fijos en mí:
los vivos ojos rojos del alma del rubí;

A Deucalión y a Pirra, varones y mujeres

Yo la he visto.
Es semejante a Diana, casta y virgen como ella;

— The End —
