Flash of lightning fuses
a moment of dreaming
with momentary reality.

As I drift off again,
rolling thunder finds
all the cells in my body.

An ancient prayer moves
through my mind,
and before I know it
inner vision has found
a new story to see.

Why do I let you mess with my head?
I’m always laying here clueless in bed.
Trying to think of things I can shred like Zed,
But we know it’s fiction,
That Pulp said he’s dead.
Maybe I should chill,
Pop another med,
But now I’m letting something else put me back in my head.
I’m stranded, lonely, I only know to put paper to lead.
To sum it up,
You ****** me,
Nuff said.
I have nothing to Else to say.
sometimes
i wanna talk
about the things that make me sad

and why
they're
so
beautiful
to me
I wanted to write something profound.
But it’s not working out.
The well is dry.
No water around.
Nothing to spout.

So I guess I’ll just say “hi.”
That was awkward.
Ok, goodbye.
you play me like a game of jenga.

you build me up one by one,
and shortly after,
pick me apart piece by piece.

until all of me tumbles down.
i can’t remember him
my memory of him
is slowly fading
i can’t remember loving him
so much that he was perfect
i can’t remember his scent
and the taste of his lips
maybe it was sweet like honey
spiced with peppermint
from all the gum he chews

i can’t remember the sound of his voice
maybe it was deep, but i’m not sure
i don’t remember how he smiles
but once upon a time
it was my favourite thing about him
i wish i remembered him
but what i do remember
is him saying goodbye

i remember the heartbreak
and salty wet drenched pillows
i remember him
and how he destroyed me
