T** rying to spread the word
W hich remains to be untold
T rying to reach out
W ithout knowing a single soul
T rying to stand my ground
W hen nothing is beneath my feet
I guess you could say I'm quite ambitious...

Misfit

Running away
An eternal struggle
Fighting against suppressed feelings
Feeling displaced
Located in a world of my own
A world so strange...
I don't belong here...

I'm just a misfit
Branded by society
Trapped by my own peculiarity
Free to imagination...
When I am a thousand miles away
and you are seemingly a million more
here where I trade the sun for rain
dwell in the intermittent patches of grey
I distract myself in gardens green
study madala art of spider weaves
decaying, diaphanous maple leaves
the cool of wet mud wriggling around my toes
and yesterday the black birds watching me
disturbingly, the cawing crows
and I could hardly think or speak
as I dialed you long distance on the phone.
Obsessive love doesn't
give an inch
it can shake you
break you
make you flinch

Ma Cherie
My heart is like the broken glass
               there lying on the floor
It shattered a few thousand times
           behind quick slamming doors

                 The ****** shards
                   that lay unbroken
are all of that's left of love unspoken
To you I give this simple token
a piece of me in ****** ink

This piece of glass I entrust to thee
This little glass it holds the key
Beachy glass washed from a sea
         from my waiting ...wanting tears

              I've tried to love though
                       it's been vain
                   My heart is fragile...
                       single paned
I'll try to love...again with you
          liquid sand from praying pew

        I know my heart's a fragile mess
my love for you I must confess
the edges sharp my hands caress
             to make us whole again

An hourglass I'll shape in time
and strip away the ****** grime
My heart is here to love once more
A green glass piece lost on your Shores

I am here...if you decide to try
rebuild this heart from tears it cries
I wonder in its silence sighs
In you I feel at home

you know I'll hold your heart safe too
curing resin my hands will glue
        repairs rebuilding love anew
a fracture fixed by love that's true

build a bond that won't be broken
                  a smooth soft heart
                       your loving token.

In your eyes
I see the reflection of love
With all its beauty
Mixed with the burning pain of
One who can't be mine

In your eyes
I see a galaxy of possibilities
Bridging the gap
Of a history yet to be written
And a bittersweet memory

In your eyes
I see the light and heat
Of compassion
As you behold my torment
To abate my breaking heart

In your eyes
I see myself in a different life
And I wish
I could stay locked in your gaze
Forever ......

Eyes are the most beautiful part of someone I believe
We can not thrive
divided
but must stand together
a nation united
Not Pagans
Not Christians
Not Jews
Not Muslims

Americans

Not Arabs
Not Persians
Not whites
Not blacks
Not Latinos
Not Indians
Not Asians

Americans

Stand together my brothers
Stand for freedom my sister's
Stand for love
Stand for light

Brighten the night
And realize
We are one
We are all

We are life

We are America.
