If I found a way out for a day
I would soon journey back
I would burn the map for fear
of being followed or roll it small
enough to swallow
I would stand in the shadows while
the controlled marched by then race to
the rooftop to marvel at the sky
I would stroll cloak and dagger through
the shoppes in town then hide in the sewer till
the sun went down

No one cares unless you're rich or dying
You arent afraid of the darkness because of demons and monsters out there.
More likely you are afraid of your own demons you have to face.
Cause in the end of the day you are all by your own. Darkness kicks in.
People disappear.
Objects disappear.
Your eyes get blind. Things get hardly to find. The vision you have in the morning gets blurry. The only thing that stays is you.
You and your own mind. After a long day with many attempts to escape, the darkness overtakes you.
Your problems and thoughts get clear cause there is nothing other left to focus on.
There is nothing other left for your senses to be seen or heared.
Cause in the night when youre laying all by yourself in your bed. You are confronted with your own inner demons.
Just yourself.
And somehow you manage to escape this demons night by night by falling in sleep. But in  very few nights your mind finally interrupts your sleep..

Ice
The  babies sleep soft
as flour beneath
our sagging

roof and ice begs
deformed limbs
down

upon electrical lines while
we wait for the blizzard
to hold breath.
Each drop of rain has been programmed with
exact coordinates from which to strike land
The direction of the wind rehearsed from a
remote corner of Earth
The sun signs off daily on lucky parcels that will bask in its
love
Every wrinkle in the mirror planned in advance
A lavatory faucet stream explosion where it meets
porcelain
Small rivers hurdle down cabinets retrieving dust ,
bound for trim moulding , another universe now forming
The trimmed end of a hair lying on the floor , the residents are attempting to contact the opposite end for answers , for surety of purpose , to prove they're not alone

in the dark
compass spinning
wanton wind
howling, wailing
brittle arms
in concert waving
emerald waters
whipped and raging

sky crushed velvet
sequins sewn tight
to the shattered
span of night
a million times
each time as new
with stardust eyes
with gratitude
Choreographing words
Into theatrical dances
With her imagination,

Gracefully exhibiting
All of her thoughts -
Using letters
As lavish decoration.

Having them leap-out
Onto the stage,
Outside of her mind,

Hoping each performance,
"Her life's story,"
You will find.

Patience is what it takes,
To be happy and successful.

Dedication is what it takes,
To be sincere and well-turned.

Time is what it takes,
To be recognized by a true lover.

Maturity is what it takes,
To be faithful and loyal to one love.

Affection is what it takes,
To be caring and loving in life.

Strength is what it takes,
To be full of fidelity and satisfaction.

Morality is what it takes,
To avoid infidelity and seduction.
Did you have any of it, dear?

a star burns bright
for our brothers of poetic art
a star burns bright
viewing their poems a sheer delight
this Christmas we'll feel their depart
none surviving erasure's dart
a star burns bright
