Drenched as we arrived
Place an order and occupy the corner
We are the most inactive activist
When the caffeine jitters taper
as so the compulsory unrest

How convenient

To supplant one idea
or addiction for another
A self-imposed subjugation
A contrivance to our problems
begging simple solutions

The neutral brain is alienated;
yawning for the end of speech

All things exist as self-medication
Only the self-conscious can concede
when the synapses exhaust

January blues are bittersweet,
Red berries stand resistant to the mourning frost.
death lingers amongst the trees, reigning over a white paradise.
A delicate green **** blows like a flag in the snow, refusing to surrender.

A paradise lays amongst the remains for those willing to see.
cradled in the arms of a great oak, under a blanket of a thousand stars.

If you walk with a purpose
Your feet will never tire

Oh Allah !
In this coming, spiritual month of Ramadan-
I plead for forgiveness,
I ask from you to cleanse our souls,
Forgive us all,
For we have sinned,
We are frail by heart,
We are liars and judgmental,

Oh Allah !
My eyes shed tears for all of this human race,
All those who have passed away,
For people who are still here,
And for those who have lost their strength,
I pray for all these people,
For their forgiveness, for their health,
I ask for your help,

Oh Allah !
To you we all shall return,
We are your disciples Almighty Allah,
And I ask from you to lead us to the right path,
We are your creation,
We have erred and ask for forgiveness,
How guilty are we and how we've fallen in abyss,
Please listen to our prayers and let us taste the essence of a heavenly afterlife.

Look beyond those empty windows,
Find the swollen mirrors
Twist the tables
Do they spin inside themselves?

Look at the forgotten moon
Do you see it rot too?

Do you fear the system?
Do you fear it will tear apart,
The endless rhythms you've sought to create,
Only for ghosts to read those words?

Those words that bend in augmented illusions
And dissect their hearts
So that they are thick as flat glass,
Only for them to fit.

Sure, they fit-- but they also
Shatter in a million pieces,
That crack every second in every
Unimaginable dimension.

They have not yet realized, that the image it holds
Does not hold you for good.
Instead, its folds your reality
Till it becomes fantasy.

Those words written on empty pages,
They say, it speaks full of mysteries--
Mysteries that only talk nonsense,

Are you confused?
Does your mind dwell upon the reason
A reason that does not exist?
Or so, they thought.

And perhaps, there is no reason after all,
Perhaps the words,
Could, after all-- be pointless.
In the view of them, of course.

But the only thing that's pointless, is
The words they speak,

The words of empty meanings
The words of twisted walls
The words of the swollen mirrors

They speak.

Sequestered in my home
Ingested by a poem
A whale swallowed me whole
Thank you sweet obsession

As the winds carry the words
Across the vast endless ocean
I hope a heart will bleed
As it is a poisonous potion

A drug so powerful
It could change the world
But its side effects still
too painful to behold

the door of death swings easily
well maintained its hinges oiled
if you listen you will hear it constantly shutting
