Fantasy is merely a hungover version of reality, unbarred and subject to the whim of the dreamer

Loosely tethered to existence between a life we wish upon ourselves and a dissatisfied ego

For he who rejects this ideal reveals a falsity in his perception

And he who believes these mistruths that is found undeserving of confidence

Come to me my love,

On a ******* overlooking a weightless ocean

Where the grains cover our toes as they depress the sodden ground

Come to me my love,

In a deep dark forest with vegetation thick

Obscuring the sacred path

Where your hand guides me along an animalistic route, savage like we once were

Come to me my love,

Atop a skyscraper in a great city of lovers

Where steam flows from the vents and you hold me watching the sun spread across the buildings

Come to me my love,

Aboard a ship placed upon an ocean blue

Where the past floats to a new future, and you kiss me at the bow

Come to me my love,

In a ***** Dachau of human existence, clawing to survive

and bread the most valuable commodity

Where our bread molds because neither of us is willing to eat until the other is nourished

Come to me my love,

To the Hindu wheel of all the pasts before us

Where our only struggle was to find each other and the only life is a future

Come to me my love,

To a moon soaked room, windows opened after a rain

Where man holds the key to unlock a sweaty night of groping, grabbing, salty licks

Come to me my love,

Your head laying on my pillow

a golden cataract spilling like the waters of everlasting life

Where our blue eyes meet and all the pasts’ spring forth to our future

All the places we will go become clear

All the kisses we will share are repeated

The breeze bumps our skin and with the softest lips you say

“I love you”

Those eyes.
In the face of a stranger,
800 miles from home

Nostalgia gripping all being.
A pang of familiarity,
Watching the false you
Losing sensation of breath and self

Stretching and piercing deep within,
Heartbeat; Heartache?
As skin recalled the touch
Of dissembled intention

Fingertips to caress,
Lips to promise and evoke,
A passion of two souls in tandem
Reaching for something
Zenith in existence

An exchange of emotion
A gift of connection
Without restriction
Awe of existence, and depth of being

Preparation for a reaping
Of exchange, and return.
Void of insight;
Bearing the fruit
Of misplaced intimacy

Vacant and hollow the reception
A chasm of lust
Intwined with need
Selfish and unforgiving

Setting fire to the dry tinder of a heart
Only to watch the flames
Engulf and destroy

Silently.
Furtively.
Withdrawal and reflection
Feeling the cold absence of touch
From this distance

Like a lover's caress,
Her breath carried with it the weight in which toppled my world.
My heart shattered into a thousand pieces as she laid plans for a new destination outside my existence.
For where she wandered, I could not go.
I knew that day the pain of life and longing
would follow me into the brightest places of my journey.
But I weep not for the loss in which I have sustained, but rejoice;
For a love who's depth could rival the ocean
Has kissed my soul while I walked consciously upon the earth

Take my hand
And feel the pulse
Thumping in rhythm
My heart to yours
One, Two, Three
Like a silent waltz
My joy proliferates
At your caress
A race with no winner
Through my veins
Deluging my senses
With a zenith existence
Perfumes of you
Saturate my every thought
Stealing my focus
Like ice and fire
Stinging and warm
Like a promise of tomorrow

The sun will chase the moon
Through the clouded dark of night,
The moon
Ever skittish
Will hide
From the ever growing light
Of day before the dawn's sweet kiss
Reminisce the taste of your lips
For a love so great
The whole world watches
As the sun and the moon eclipse

Like the waters of a tide
Life swells and ebbs in moments
Of clarity
Lost in tangles of confusion
And frustration
As clear as the foggy lakeshore
On a stormy night
