Crushing Love
Charmanders are Red, Squirtles are blue
If you were a Pokemon I'd choose you.
Your smile is stronger then a Hyper-beam.
Like Jessie and James  we'd make the perfect
Team.

I'll stay by your side like  Pikachu and Ash,
And I'll love you more then a level 80 Rapidash.
You're more legendary then a Zapados,
Entei, or Mew.

But out of all 450, I choose you.
Just something cute and fun!

I met you at the station
you said wanted to go anywhere but here.

I said to look for the tracks that
are the most uninviting. You
took my arm. I wished for

something better and here it came,
disguised by dirt, dislocation and greying days.

Your ticket says no return but
mine is undefined, watchful, ready
to bolt or to linger. You say you love
the stations from afar.

There's not much of me
requested, but the splinters that you
do, I gift hopelessly. The

smallest glimpse of light approaching
filtered through dank, oppressive air
are superior, surely? than finite life
exhausted watching the dark.

By the night you amplify,
when you have enjoyed my fill and
left with little but fingerprints and
recollections, casting parallel shadows
on directions that await.

I give you almost everything
except for the words that
travel nowhere but my head.

You gave me the signal
a briefest flash of red
that stopped this in its tracks.

Green tea equations and cigarettes and
a distinct lack of food and
dark night lovely lonely walks and
maybe tomorrow
she will wake in a life
where she can love all parts of herself.

Can you feel that?
What a wondrous sensation.
She takes cold hands and
questions and buries them
in that empty stomach that
sings loudest when she fails
at sleeping. This girl with worn patches
and an overwhelming sense of
irony; there's too much to her
but still she is not enough.

tomorrow i want to steal someone's heart
and i want them to steal mine
i want to trace constellations on their palm with my finger,
paint symphonies out of heart tickling laughter,
dance a slow waltz with our lips intertwined,
and gaze into their eyes and see a universe

dear 11:11
tomorrow i want to be in love
i want to feel the tip of it with my toes
let it crawl up my leg and body
and wrap me up from the inside out
sink into oblivious bliss

today i spent alone but
tomorrow i want love to knock at my door
sing me a tune i know by heart
and let me hum the harmonies
tear up the clouds and let the sun rain down
sincerely,
i felt like this a while ago and still do, i think. anyways, this poem is pretty raw and i'm probably going to post a revised version later. but for now, enjoy the thoughts i have and keep to myself.

You make love to me all night and all morning,

With your beautiful body you make me shiver,

Moan and addicted to you.
I grasp onto the sheets like there's no tomorrow,

Like you're about to break me -
Like I'm feeling alive again, as I breathe desperately into your arms.

Don't go,

Don't go,

Stay.

I open my eyes,

Into this delusional moment of love,
You're gone.
Leaving behind you,
broken bottles and ***** half empty glasses,
Leaving traces of you without any promises.

My fingers are reaching for the ceiling,
As if I could almost reach your lips again,
As you move through me so easily,
I engulf myself into this memory,
That will soon fleet as I
Look through the window.
The sun is finally rising,
Saving me from my hopeless dream.
The clock is ticking,
My life is starting,

Without you into this new day,

Where I will let my soul shatter again,

Wishing for someone to stay.
I want to be the one to paint
the smile on your face
Color each day of your life
Draw the line to all your insecurities
Smudge every tears in your eyes
Erase all the pains in your heart
And look at you like the most beautiful art
With all the flaws in your life
Fall asleep under the trees
I raise my voice to sing to thee
Listen to my lonely call
And face the fears that torture all

My tears will help and strengthen you
Until Courage builds up a new tune
And when I die, remember me
I raise my voice to sing to thee
