When the sun is down
The moon comes around to try & hug her
Night & day are lovers
Forever chasing each other
An endless endeavour like no other
They are meant for one another
Hiding their feelings behind the Earth's cover
During dusk & dawn, they blend their colours
It's their love they utter
The moon adores the sun more during summer
In awe of her in her element
Surrounded by stars, he stays celibate
Astounded by her being above par
Far above, yet still with benevolence
No one comes close, they're irrelevant
Shines so bright, she must be heaven sent

Sometimes, I feel
that the modern world
has traded love, for clarity...

has traded flowery gardens,
for deserts.
has traded stars,
for a picture of stars.
has traded dance and songs,
for analysis.
has traded ecstasy,
for mere control.
has traded heart,
for mind.

has traded life,
for death...

My Dear Poet
You can’t keep holding on
to disaster
Disaster has no heart
but to destroy
You need to live
happily ever after
Danger is not a toy
I say this because I love you
I say this because I’m a friend
I say this because I need you
I need you here to the end

Amour de Monet
Lay the bricks
Lay them high
Keep you safe
Up to the sky
Night will fall
He will call
Sit quietly
Within your walls
Closeness too far
The darkest star
Could I be any other?

Hyacinth is used in perfume-making.
Symbolises love that is everlasting.
Power, beauty, and its merit
Are for uplifting the spirit.
In mid-spring, you can see them blooming.

You can see them for two weeks, flowering.
A delicate, fresh scent's breaking
Bloom is the best time to visit.
Hyacinth Blooms

Their blooms can be seen colouring.
Lavender, rose, and cream are sinking.
In many shades, one can endear it.
Beautiful flowers, you always cheer it
In memories, they are masking

ok okay
Take me beyond these rainy days
Clutch my hand
Let's go away
I can write us to another place
Where no shadows exist
A great escape

A meadow can find us
And hold us near
All our fears will disappear

We can watch the seasons change
The faded colours will not stay

The falling stars can watch us dream

Nothing is truly as it seems
The ending could be interpreted in a couple of ways. I see it positively :)

if only we could exist
for a single moment
at only one place
for only a memory
that would be solely ours

but we are flesh and blood
we travel and continue
to exist at different times
in different places
we cannot seem to stop
yet we believe
our existence
is extraordinary

when will we realise
that even the extraordinary
is ordinary?
....figure it out. I'm going to sleep.

Flora Felafel
Pain is inevitable,
Suffering is optional.
The crossroads of success,
Is always constructional.

If we could become tress,
Solid and stoic, deep rooted
In Mother Earth's flesh;
We could stand firm
Through the tempest, unswayed.

But we are only humans.
Covered in darkness.
Hiding behind our fears,
Timidly withdrawing from
The ominous tempest.

So, embrace the fury,
The daunting gales that
Once were scary.
After all, you can't
Stop the waves,
But you can learn to surf.

And even if you sank,
Deeper into the void,
At least you'll drown
Knowing there was
Beauty In The Struggle.
