God talks to me all day long
And I talk to him
And this is the way I've learned to get on.
He keeps telling me to press on
It won't last forever,
But I have to remember
Only He controls what will belong.
A world where I see you several times a week, but we don't speak...*****.
But I'm hoping it won't last long.
Because I would rather be a blatantly
desperate and in love with you friend
Than an exgirlfriend who is long gone...
I've just never found a better friend than you.
I don't think needing that is wrong.

Only you can translate
where you are
on your voyage through
this varied farce
called “life”.

No one else can dictate
to you…
or should even dare…
how to phrase
your feelings,
your thoughts,
your personal moments.

Who is anyone to
cause another to feel
inept or inferior
for wording their
experiences as they will?

We are all both
audience and poet,
consumed by the
powerful spell of words
and meaning
we are bonded
in ink.

It takes gumption
and courage
to give voice to
your vision of
the world.

It often requires
resilience and nerve
to open your heart
and peel back the
layers of skin,
and let others take
a long look at the
inner workings of YOU.

Be brave,
take courage,
let your soul speak
in its very own
language.

People will read
your words and
listen to the sweet
whispers
and thunderous shouts
that flow from pens
and keys
to release the
inner demons and angels
and the lyrical
vines that bloom and live
in our individual
landscapes,

fluidly coursing from
our own rabbit holes
with fortitude and grace
and our neverlands,
where we need never
grow up,

to share with those
that need to see
and hear and feel
and wonder.

Again, its you on my mind,
brought to my face, a sweet smile
Come, let me embrace you warmly
give you my love of all kind.

The sky is red,
birds returning to their home
while I look dreaded,
I don't want to be alone.

The sun does burn me through the day,
but it heals my soul in the end.
I will love you forever, come what may.
Test me, whichever way you want,
as you can't stop my ascend.

In the day, the sea waves me goodbye,
but it returns with a gentle touch.
Come, let me embrace you warmly
at dusk, on the beach, here I lie.
In the evening, an unknown fear gives me a bite
Only at the beach, I find some respite

It doesn't feel great,
when I am greeted by nothing.
By silence.
Indifference...
Am I even here?

It doesn't feel great
thinking about all the times
I could have loved you
as fiercely and as longingly as
I do now,
but I chose hate instead.
I chose ugliness.
I chose to treat you not as a gift,
but as a burden.
Wow...
No, none of that feels great.
And though I know nothing can be changed.
Though I know I am not to live with regret
and shame.
It still hurts,
when you're the person I want to call
to share my happiness with
to share in the fruitful time I am walking through...
alone,
but I can't.

No...it doesn't feel great...
But it's okay.
This too shall pass

Where the eyes go
the body will follow.
This rings true today,
this rings true tomorrow...
and when you think about walking away
when you think about sorrow
Give it up to Him today,
the only one who can stomach
your trials.

He takes all your pain,
shame,
grief,
brokenheartedness
and gives you Joy you
don't have to borrow.
You cannot walk this walk alone...
today
or
**tomorrow
When God looks at you he sees Jesus.
To look at yourself and see regrets and brokeness is to reject the gift of God.
A heart of triumph knows no bounds
its finely tuned, a divine sound,
it knows not failure, nor success,
it knows not the penalty of distress,
for regardless of the instance in which it prevails,
weather it be a correction, success, or a fail,
a heart of triumph stays through good and bad,
in those of us who let go of being angry or mad,
so that we can live, and be triumphet in life,
so that we can be triumphet for our friends, neighbors, kids, and wives.
triumph over your loss, and its still a win
