You are pretty

But whenever you smile

Makes me feel so empty
*      *      *      and you are      *      *
   *           *  just like the moon *      *
*        *   *      -----so, alone-----      *      *
   *      *    but you shine bright  *      *
*     *            at the darkest  *      *     *
   *      *      *     of times  *      *      *      *
*           *           *           *         *

I don’t care about your past
I just want to know if I have
A place in your future
Words float in the air
They rearrange themselves into a sentence
form a picture of a train and roll away

Words shaped like balloons
They float away but will be back soon

Words hiding in a tree
Leaves fall to the ground and form sentences for me

Musical notes rearrange themselves on a scale
Fingers jumping from fret to fret
or dancing on the piano keys
These are some of the things I see

Ocean waves roll in and write on the sand
Once it just wrote, "I AM"
Seashells with words lie on the beach
In a sentence they realign
Thank you Lord for this beautiful mind
When you think you fought for the right ,
Why is my mom lifeless ?
When you took of his head ,
He was my brother .
When you can get food ,
Why is my family starved to death ?
Hey soldiers ? ,
Are you Brainwashed ?
You care for you father and mother .
I am left without a single brother .
What wrong have I done ?
I pray to die .
Will you go to Heaven or Hell ?
- Adaa Sayed
Soldiers from both side of a war , think they are fighting for the right , but the truth is , unknowingly , the soldiers are harming other families , that have no connection with the war .

I carved her name upon the dawn
So every morning might be with her
But as it rose It grew too bright
And closed my eyes
Yet still I saw her there

I carved her name upon the sky
To keep her near me every day
But nightfall came and cleared the light
And all was dark
Yet still I saw her there

I carved her name upon the moon
To stare at her throughout my nights
But tired eyes are sneaky foes
And sleep prevailed
Yet still I saw her there

I carved her name upon my soul
Love not just with me when I look
But every day and every night
And in my heart
Yet still I saw her there

like surrendering to the ocean
floating carelessly, weightless
lost deep within her waves
i am terrified; and yet at peace
loving you feels much the same
the more i fight these feelings
the more i struggle amidst this storm
the more i drown in my lungs
and you pull me under
but to be lost in your waters
submerged beneath your waves
and drowning in you
is the sweetest hallelujah
i have ever known

moonlight spilling from her eyes
magic pouring from her lips
the universe in audience of her beauty
even the stars would weep with envy

The spring of all water
of all the rivers
is not the ocean but
a drop of nectar!

Not to mention it’s the spring
of the moon and the sun
and the earth’s elixir!
